I know its changing the subject a little, but I been running xp pro serv pack 3 and as a IT engineer I tried something which proved what I been thinking all the time, I always been with the LL viewers but this last update after wholesome trouble since this V2 came into play, I thought well what have I got to loose by trouble firestorm beta, well it was a like a dream coming true, once I installed firestorm all my troubles were over, all the problems I had with the V2 just went away, At one point I did think it was my specs and performance of my PC , but this def has proved it was not, once I switched I did not even have to change any settings, so this proved to me that V2 is bugged and I would wish for LL's to see how other manage to get 99% right and LL can not, I will not be moving back to v2 untill I 100% satisflied its works. hope this helps

So True, since the last update all I have had is bugs and crashes, yes as the last person said, I switch to firestorm to mainly eliminate my pc and to see if I was getting same probs, in fact to my suprise firestore works a treat absalute no problems, and yes, I will not move back to V2 untill I am 100% sure all is working fine, LL plz get this right no good rushing updates if they are bugged, its like throwing fuel on a fire, switching viewers was not my choice but a forced hand by LL

As for Grammer, let's get something straight that has nothing to do with what point am making, so less bitching and get involved with the point I started I am quaiflied IT engineer for over 10 years so dianosing problems and find the root to problem is well in my field, I tell you from my findings that once I moved over to firestorm all the bugs and teething problems I had with V2 vanished, and that was without touching any of my PC settings, so anyone with half a brain can work out that V2 is bugged or needs sorting. one other thing I was probally on for the first to move over two v2 as I never used emerald or any other viewer before until now, so again I not in anyway against LL viewer, and those who think am bitching I would like to ask them 'do you pay tiers' if you dont then try spending hard earn cash every month and have a product that don't work right, am sure if you types were to buy something in a shop and it was design for the purpose it was selling for you would be the first to start to complain. those who like me do pay to play this game have every right to moan as we are customers. Highting problems and feedback can only be a good thing for LL or whovever hence forums. so before you get personal and bitch try and think and reply to the issues within this dissucsion.

all I can say I was forced to try and firestorm due to last update of v2 which gave me more probs than ever, LL's if want to sit and hear, well you lost me as a V2 lover, thier no way back for me, firestorm installed works perfect no problems at all in fact its faster , the most mportant thing was I started to belive it was my pc's specs but after this well the proof is in the puddling. firestorms work V2 dont.

well I can conclusive say that v2 is bugged why, well I d/loaded firestorm and works a treat not only is it faster but stable too no crashed no re-tuxturing or nothing, perfect no I can go ahead and enjoy the game without any sitting trying to sort all bugs with v2, LL plz take up upon this, if others can get it right why cannot you guys do it.

I thought I would d\load pheonix veiwer as I was geeting so many problems with v2 and its crap update, and I can tell you now ,without any adjustments to my pc at all, its bug free loaded faster, no grapfic problems, nothing ran complety great, my conclusion is that Lidens need to test thier software before release, yes v2 has more bells and whisltes but I tell you I now have been cponverted to use third party viewers, until LL's get a stable viewer I shall not be using it

I cannot belive it, you just get use to the last update, fine tune everthing, read up on all the tips to iron out problems, then another update comes along ,one d\loads it as per normal, then its back to headaches, swearing, back to square one, now none of my settings have changed on my pc, but this new update oh bugs or what, 1: now most pps are completey grey, half grey, never happen before update, and I know its the viewer as I am not the only having the same prob; 2: dont know but now the inventory take a least 30sec to respond once clicked anything, never before has this happend 3: now I rezz and it looks like I come out of aclay oven before anyone says do this do that, I know all the fine tuning, but for hells sake dont anyone test this poxy updates talking I taking major headaches, Lindens plz.plz get this right before dishing out updates,OMG I will refrian from updates for a while thats my new motto

I been djing over five years I have and used , virtual dj, sam, and most of all the other dj programs that allow streaming with voice, but to be honest you cannot beat winamp, if you use the right plug in, you can voice, fade the songs, and have two winamps runnning two create two virtual decks, and all this cost nothing, there is a program called amok which will rip your playlist into a folder with all the mp3 in your play list. at the end of the day, winamp does the job, and my customers dont know what software am using, try it its free.

Oh come since when in Rl people out shop via a catalue than going to the shops themselves, there shoud be a level playing field thats what I am saying vendors should have the right to excise their right to open and shop and sell via the shop if they dont want to use the market-place but when the search engine changed with the new viewer that was almost inpossaible due to seach being what it was and still is, but in hinsight the beta search is avast improvement but little too late.there will be fore and against were to sell but I know for a fact most has been shifted to market place but that not a choice of vendors but a foreable choice if they want to sell they goods, make it fair level field as to be able to sell either shop with a desent seach engine or market place not weighted against the other.

I have to reply to your last statement. 1:you state Lindens always gets the blame and not the mummy or daddy, and not their to subside our hobbys ect. Well mummy and daddy do get our hard earn cash for a service which I and many others have paid for and except a desent level of service, I sure if you were paying for a service that has been declining you would complain to to so I sorry I disagree with you on that statement. 2: as for you saying a good enought product" when one has a very good product and does not wish to use marketplace and advertise it like it was before in the search engine which worked fine, but since this new search has demised to a low that and am sure would agree " place a word in search like " leather pants" and you penises and other tolly useless infomation and whiles on the subject before when paying for an add you saw what people were paying to be listed in the rankings to know were to buget, thats gone, I wonder if that was a delibrate ploy to make it an auction, one now could pay 300-400 LL's and be nowhere near the top 40+ , well thats no good if no one can find you. again seems very suspect why thats gone. again I disgree with 3:you say LL's is very open with its users as to any other game, is this a oepn statement or do you have facts to prove this? 4:Allow 3rd party delvelopers have an input? hmmm was not to long a go a very sucessfull viewer got booted, I know in broke some rules which from my understanding were corrected and the persons involded got fired or resigned aledgedly , but still it got removed, hmmm wonder why ? was it that much of a good viewer? 5:you say your store is doing great and no doubt is it and I am happy for you, you must be one of the lucky ones, I really dont care if my stores are sucessfully or not, if not I close them, what I am saying like others, that before it was a fair playing field as to be able to open a store and sell thats what most of us had 3+ years ago, but pushing marketplace to the forefront as LL's have, and creating a crapping viewer to so people can find what thier want to buy and it frustrates then into using MP to me seems an unfair playing field there are many who wsih just to rent a shop and sell thier products, with out having to compete with the might of MP, I would like to note, that I not complaining on my behaft but and opened a disscusion about this I really am not that worried if my goods dont not sell, am sure not going to spend thousands of LL's on add in MP place when I know the chance of getting a hit with in very low. marigold, I make a very income from djing in sl, as I am good at it being one in RL, but am sorry I know what we had in SL before and it was good, it has lslowly gone wrong and I love for SL to put it right or make a good effort which I sure they are, I have nothing against SL ,but I would like to see them hear us,and openly let us know they are and if they are making changes plz consult with the people who been using SL for a long time. they surly are the best people to ask for the future of SL, not a programmer that devolpes ideas and put them into practice with mass consultation from us. I would therefore would suggest if any major implemtations or inprovement be madeit should be known to all before any are enforcement of them, this way we all see, I dont how the last search engine was placed but it sure has not worked that could be a good lesson to start with. again nothing personal to you just my views , and well for it for SL to move forward, I think it a great idea and would love it to be very popular .like most of us would. and

To Marigold Devin reply As I agree it's not gloom but the fact the numbers are droping and people are getting frustrated is a fact, clubs,shops, ect are going through hell, lets not forget that sims owners relied most of there fee's being subsisdise by ,renting shops and homes, but with the search engine being crap for search for merchandise and the fact that marketplace has been thrown in the forfront agaist privite shop owners, does not help, once you start loosing the big spenders then it has a knock on affect,I dont be grudge LL making profit but frustating the land fee owners and spenders but makin it more diiicult to sell or rent in-world and pushing everyone to use market place, ( and we know why) well dont help. I would like to see an open forum were LL can openly come forward and tell us excatly what is going on and what the propose to do, I dont wnat to hear proganda but what is really going on and what projected future is on the table.
