  1. The system will be smoother than auctions. I've only seen one auction on my sim that wasn't due to someone ticketing for the land. But a lot of good land is already abandoned, which this system won't help. I hope they do consider applying it to previously abandoned land too. Maybe do it for a small date range of land at a time, so there isn't a sudden glut of every piece of abandoned land coming up for sale.
  2. I usually send tickets rather than ARs, as they get a swifter response and you can check on their progress. It can also help to get a friend with a premium account to ticket as well.
  3. The core of the Chilbo community is general. That's the Chilbo sim itself and the one to the south - Madhupak. It's a mainland community, so there are various galleries, shops, gardens and the like scattered about. This is the town hall: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Chilbo/112/230/121
  4. The Tiny Outpost is a shopping area for tinies with tiny products only. It has a fairytale village feel to it. http://slurl.com/secondlife/Orbiuna/149/80/352 (The landing point may put you on a platform near shops for big people... follow the paths. The Tiny Outpost part has a sign above the entrance).
  5. There's blame on both sides here. You didn't ask before putting the sphere in place. Cube neighbour didn't ask for it to be removed - he put the cube in and waited for you to react. Communication is the most important thing when neighbours have issues, so neither side was a good neighbour in their handling of it. But looking to place the blame means it'll escalate. Someone needs to back down and say sorry. Given that by default, someone's airspace is theirs unless they agree otherwise... cube neighbour is the one who gets to decide if the sphere stays or goes. You could let it happen the hard way by making him AR you, but it wouldn't hurt to show you'd like to smooth things over. If I were you, I'd remove it and apologise. Just a straight and simple, "I'm sorry. I've taken the sphere down." Don't slip in any insults or "sorry, but..."

    AutoReturn

Melita Magic wrote: I just posted on this same problem. Auto return default should be ON in my opinion, at least when people abandon land. I was under the impression (though might be wrong) that this was part of the abandoned land changes in the works - that autoreturn would switch on by default when people abandon. I hope it is, as the current situation is a pain. I had someone dump a landmark giver by my store (LL did clear it up quickly though).
  7. Stopping me from flying doesn't force me to explore. It makes it harder to explore, meaning I'm more likely to leave. As a tiny, I often use fly to deal with things that have been designed for tall avatars. I also use it to get out when I get stuck.

I did not click them, ride them or anything else. All I was doing is standing near them. If you read through the messages here, you'll see a number of us aren't saying we love them or we hate them. We're saying it was fine, but they're getting out of control. I know I'd rather work with you than put in an AR. But it doesn't come across as though you want to work with anyone to fix the problems. Just cutting the numbers in half and looking into why they message bystanders would be a good start.
  9. I liked the vehicles at first, but not so much after the changes. The frequency has gone up dramatically and they spam menus as they pass. In moderation, I think it's a nice idea. Moderation would be a low frequency of vehicles and no automated menus.
  10. I like the stability of the mainland. It's difficult to run a shop when you have to move every year or so, because the private land owners move on to other things. I also like the challenge aspect. When I moved into Mindulle, it had ad squares down the side of the road and the whole thing was terraced poorly. It's taken awhile, but I've managed to get rid of the ad squares and I'm slowly restoring the hill.
