I just came here a couple days ago with the same prob and thanks to a couple of forum angels (wink..you know who you are) my problem was fixed and my land was saved!!! phewwww... hahahah and now I feel like singing a happy song! lalalala!

Is anyone else having problems buying currency? I've tried buying L's from my dashboard and inworld.. but, LL says it cannot complete the transaction. I've tried with a couple alts too but no go. My tier is due and I'm broke! OMDAMN I've never had this problem in all the yrs I've been on SL... Any ideas? :matte-motes-shocked:

Ok, I switched viewers.. now, using Exodus and I haven't gotten the error message...BUT, now, there's an a thing.. like a huge invisible prim approximately 10x3x12m on the roof of my 'castle' where I have a media player and intan. It blocks my way and I can stand on top of it. I've highlighted transparent but it doesn't show up.. I've clicked all over it but there is nothing there to edit. I've removed the media player, furniture and intan. I've had this problem before, but, its gone away. This thing has been here for 3 days. I hate the idea of leaving my land cuz I've been there for a long time. Landlord restarts the sim several times a week.. but its not helping.. Any ideas on this one? Alicia.. think you can find this one???? I think my land needs an exorcism.. :matte-motes-evil:

Here's the sitch.. 2 weeks ago, I was looking in my lost and found folder and saw that a baby loon had been returned...sooOOoo, I clicked on it to return it to its original position. No problem since I've been on this land for 7 months. That's when it all went bad.. My nearby chat and screen are being assaulted, pommeled by this message "cant move obect ... to {xxx, xxx, xxx} in region xxxx because of an unknown reason. [4194304]" (the xxx's are for privacy). I've manually cleared cache (firestorm), I've returned all of the objects on my land, begged my landlord for help (she can't find any problem), I've looked in 'about land' for scripts, I've highlighted transparent, I've put the co-ordinates in the map and turned on a beacon.. I've searched everywhere for this damn bird and I cannot find it!!! I'm so laggy now that I'm having a very difficult time using my camera when I build.. I'm stuck. Stuck, I tell you! Does anyone have suggestions for me? I'm about ready to pull out my prim hair by the roots!!! :smileymad: ..Nim (gggrrrrrrrr!!!)

Someone is reading my mind again! I turned my computer on a couple hours ago with the purpose of researching home brewed beer ... That's going to be my next project for the new year. I've made 'jail house' wine for fun.. just to see if I could do it. Beer is next on the list.. hmmmm... I've always wanted to make honey meade too. I'll put that on my to do list too!

I came to SL about 3 yrs ago as female, (since that is what I am in RL).. bad skin, stiff hair and walked like a zombie duck .. a real looker. I had no idea about role playing or even considered the possibility of being a different gender or species. All of my alts look exactly the same.. same skin, hair, eyes and shape.. same style of clothing (boho retro hippie chick with the occasional native american/celtic warrior woman thrown in for good measure) After a while, I started to notice that my avatars were taking on my RL appearance. They all have reddish hair and freckles.. but, they are much better .. ummmm.. proportioned than the rl me. I eventually created a male avatar (sans snap on tool). He's really quite handsome.. well propotioned - not a gorilla juicebox with short stumpy arms! One day, I logged him in too show a friend of mine what he looked like and she said that he looked a male version of my female alts! Said he looked like Nim's big brother LOL!!! I've tried to have alts with different looks and hairstyles etc, but, I guess I'm just a creature of habit and feel much more comfortable looking like Nimue .. "What's in a name? I have nothing against vamps.. I've been a member of bloodlines for almost 2 yrs. I'm not a very good vampire . not committed to the game and I'm very shy about biting strangers... My question is this - Why, all of the sudden, is LL pushing vampire 'awareness and appreciation' on the forum and introducing vampire 'experts'??? I'm not trying to start an us vs them war.. I love to mix and match.. When I first joined SL, I bought and wore fancy gowns .. but now days, I wear mostly jeans and t's.. and old school tattoos that I create.
