  4. greek Wingtips wrote: Well been a quile since I posted Oh yeah I was banned for a while by LL ,but we wont go into that, hot potatoe well I have to inform you that did you know now online you can have your photography or artwork created into hardback books its not that expensive but its a very good idea if you want to show your work off, likewise I also found the same thing in sl a book that sits as a hud and you view your work or for customers. if you want more info you can contant me in world or at my gallery for any of the above BTW still exprimenting with some fantatic photoshop plug in greek wingtips I've thought about having my poetry bound.. I ended up doing it myself with handmade papers. I also illustrated it with my art. It was very time consuming, but, it turned out beautiful.. I get so excited about plugins.. I can spend hours looking for them on line.. Does that make me weird? :matte-motes-wink-tongue: Anyway, welcome back!
  5. ok.. I'll go for it. I'm sure I'll wear something less revealing.. but, these undies will probably be under it all. :matte-motes-bashful-cute:
  6. Where are you from? I'm an Okie.. Oklahoma, USA When did you join SL originally? My original av, 2008. Nim has the good inventory, so, she's the one that gets to come out and play. What have you mainly spent your time doing in SL in the past? In the beginning.. it was clubs and socializing, but, for the past 2 yrs. I've been focusing on building and putzing around on my land. I take lots of pictures and make little films. How are you planning to spend your time in SL in 2013? About the same. I might start selling my builds..but, probably continue to give them away. I've been wanting to make a very good atmospheric machinima for the song "Here and Heaven" from the Goat Rodeo Sessions.. (Yo Yo Ma). Cool thread, Porky. :matte-motes-bashful-cute-2:
  7. This photo was taken at Cala Galadhon.. I've been visiting these sims for yrs and they just keep getting more beautiful:heart:
  8. Thanks, Stella.. glad you liked :matte-motes-little-laugh: I tried writing one freeform poem years ago.. I don't know if I did it right..or even know how to write one. It has no structure nor ryhme, but, it's choked full of metaphor goodliness!. here it is. It's very short and it "freeformed" right from my spirit. As I wrote it, I could hear ocean waves and distant whale song.. all in my head. :matte-motes-whistle: Paradise Amethyst clouds caress the midnight sky And the ocean's waves sing a distant song. The velvet sand whispers my name... I reach into iridescent waves and Tiny emerald fish swim through my fingers... Fins twinkling like wind chimes. A warm jasmine breeze gently rustles the stars, Swirling distant galaxies... I see you there, smiling at my amazement. I ask you if this is Paradise... You reach up and pluck a star from the Heavens And place it in my eye... Now, I see the fragrance of the wind And hear the color of your voice. I am in Paradise.....
  9. NealCrz wrote: Yea Zbrush and scultris the other one is free, but ZBrush has rebirth my photoshop curiosity. Same tool used for many animated movies. If you fall in love with the idea, find a student almost 1/2 off haah. Abolutely love that poem. It really hits the mark! H ========================================== Heres one I wrote for my gf after we met rencelty. Ask or PM me if anyone wants a hints on any of it. Promise Into my life a soft wind blow her spirit true and center glow my gaze aware did follow thou to swirl about in hope's corral Dance, share, and witness bare soul and breast with raring ear with words so pure did hope arise to a supple state my soul surmise Though bulwark spring to ward my heart my feet stood fast, and na'er would part her salute was captain beyond all scrutinay my mind and feet abide in mutiny Hope and trust did spark affection passions slumbering roused in conjection endearing gaze still deeper dash a kindred bond a red rose sash Now each day I peer the chart with leeward sail she guides my heart hope abounds for future come affection and love is now my drum Promise ooOOoohhhh... such romantic metaphor and similie.. This made me think of the sea and sailing. Your love is a lucky woman to have a poetic man.. That's very hard to come by.. Well done, Neal :matte-motes-smitten:
  10. @ Stella.. that poem was hilarious! I have known quite a few 'girls' like that.. well, not really known, guess because I'm not "cool" enuf to know, which is probaby a blessing. But, aside from all of that, I really like your rhyming scheme.. a-b-a-b. I'm a rhymer, too. I just cannot understand 'freeform' poetry. Well done! @ Ceka.. the more I see ppl's mesh and sculpt designs, the more I want to try it. Looks like you have fun creating! ... Zbrush, you say..hummm.. I have been sculpting with clay for many many (many) years. I think I'll give it a go. Thank's for the inspiration! This is a poem I wrote for a friend who rp's a werewolf in SL.. hope it makes you giggle!:matte-motes-bashful-cute-2: "A Lesson of Moonlight and Wolves" On the night of the fullest moon, He hunts the innocent heart. His song does cause a swoon That makes good sense depart.. His love is cold and treacherous, His kiss is a savage bite, His heart is depraved and lecherous, But, his eyes promise carnal delight. Beware the wolf that sings sweet songs As he's ripping out your heart; His passion for conquest is so strong That he'll tear your soul apart. Let this be a warning to you, Never walk in the woods alone; Moonlight and wolves should be taboo And nice girls should stay at home...
  11. Sonja.. I love it that you use your own art for designing clothing. You have inspired me to do the same :matte-motes-sing: Coby.. That skirt is devine! I wish I could wrap my head around mesh (<-just think about that phrase for a minute..)..but, Blender put the fear of god in me..it was terrifying :matte-motes-shocked: 16.. your poem was so funny! I'd like to hear "Conversations with a Cat" :cathappy: I just finished this build a couple of days ago. All my builds turn into old houses..or Pompeiian houses.. always old. (love the new phototools)
  12. This is a really nice idea, Neal.. very uplifting! :matte-motes-smitten: I'm going to be watching this topic.. I get so much inspiration from creative people. Poetry inspires much of my creativity and everyday life inspires my poetry.. This poem was inspired by a dream I had last year. I hope it makes you smile.. "High Society Nights" He's a fascinating animal, so suave and debonair, He looks like Clark Gable and dances like Astaire; The ladies all adore him in his white tie and tails, They all hope to have a chance with this fascinating male. You'll find him out every night, martini glass in hand, Jiving at the Savoy to the Benny Goodman Band; 'Jazz babies' dressed in ermine all give him the eye, They parade past his table with long seductive sighs. He sees a woman in the crowd dressed in diamonds and mink; He calls a waiter to his table to order her a drink. She is a stunning beauty, red lips and platinum hair, Finger-waves and smoky eyes with an indifferent, sexy stare. When her drink arrives, the waiter points to him, With a sulty smile, she runs her finger 'round the rim; The fascinating animal, now, leads her by the hand Onto the crowded dance floor and the Benny Goodman Band. Romance is in the air tonight, you can see it in their eyes; Dancing cheek to cheek while the band plays a lullaby; Another night, a different romance in "High Society", How wonderful to be alive in 1933!
  13. I haven't created a portrait for a long time.. This is Nimue-angel making her New Yrs resolution.. too, ummm.. be more...ummmm .. well, just to be more! :matte-motes-bashful-cute-2:

  15. Hey, thanks Val.. when I was building this scene (which has since turned into my 'abode'), I was listening to "Gimme Three Steps by Lynayrd Skynyrd." I'm so glad you like it :matte-motes-smitten:
  16. Here's my junkyard still life.. I'm sitting on my rusted out pickup truck in the moon light, listening to some Lynyrd Skynyrd.. :matte-motes-whistle:
  17. I loved this.. it held my attention till the very end. The sets are a visual feast and the animations flow so appropriately. Well, done, Kobuk. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work!
  18. *♫♪ Oh the weather outside is frightful, But my pond is so delightful And since we've no place to go Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow! ♪♫* I love my little corner of the SL world! :matte-motes-smitten:

  21. Griffin Ceawlin wrote: Arman Michigan wrote: I like realistic roleplay, so I can feel "at home" in SL. I'm sorry, but I LOLed. The first time I read this, I read it as realistic foreplay. Funny! Every single time I see a post with roleplay in it, I ALWAYS think foreplay!!! I guess foreplay can be roleplay in SL :matte-motes-whistle: Sorry, Arman! Welcome to SL (if you're new) I just couldn't resist! What do you mean by realistic foreplay.. I mean realistic roleplay?:matte-motes-agape: Just being yourself with someone? or joining a roleplay community?
  22. @Val... the bridge is really very good! I love the rustic feel off it. Your sim is lovely. Back in the "day" when I had a sim.. I was constantly changing it. One week it would be a forest with standing stones and ponds.. the next week it would be completely sunken with a greek temple in the middle of it. Now, I'm building a replica of True Blood's Queen Sophie-Anne's mansion.. Ok.. way off topic! I love visiting Humanoid.. so many places for great photos..
  23. Greetings, Snigletz. It's nice to meet you. Nice post. Seems like you read my profile! Hey, are you sure you're not me???? Just kidding. Maybe I'll bump into you in world for some witty intelligent conversation! Good luck to you on being a DJ. Cheers, Nim
  24. You people look amazing! I hadn't looked at this forum for a while .. and when I did, I got inspired all over again. It practically takes a stick of dynomite to get me out of my ripped up jeans and t-shirt (hhmmm, that sounded kinda weird!) I just had to get dressed up and go back to the theater! Does this dress make my butt look big? (No, your butt makes your butt look big!) <-- beat you to it! *wink*
