  5. Hello saraan. I guess that Exotropia or Exotripia is a name of a brand? I used the search in world and also the search at Marketplace but i didn't find something. Are you sure that you spell it right? Where did you see these eyes? You can edit your post (Options --> Edit) EDIT: Got you now. Unfortunately i don't know sometihng about but i will keep looking for.
  6. Hello Lucky and welcome to SL Forums. Really we can't help if we don't know exactly the error message you get and you can't log in. Also, if it is easy, provide your laptop's specs. You can edit your post (Options --> Edit).
  7. Hello Magelle and welcome to SL Forums. The fact is that you can't get pregnant in SL. Just you can buy a baby as you buy everything else at Marketplace or at stores in world. Just remove (detach) everything you wear about it.
  8. Hello sparkles. With one word yes. On the other side i don't know if it is a good idea to spend so many funds if you need a card just for Second Life. A Nvidia GTX460 is cheaper but good enough also.
  9. Hello GinasOwn and welcome to SL and SL Forums. When you buy stuff, you find it very easily in the second tab of your inventory called "Recent" unless you relog. If so, you find it in the folder called "Objects" in your main inventory. One step further, when you buy stuff you must to wait up to 24 hours to get it. That's what Linden Lab officially reports. If this time expires and you are sure that you didin't get your purchases or you can't find them in your inventory, submit a ticket https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/ --> Marketplace category --> Failed Marketplace Delivery. Explain analytically what was happened and wait for a reply. Be sure that someone there will help you. Alternatively open your Dashboard --> Shopping --> Marketplace --> My Marketplace --> My account --> Order History --> If you see that your last purchases delivered means that the merchant(s) got payed --> Take a copy of your last purchases (there you see the name of the merchant)--> Open your inventory --> create a New Notecard --> Paste there --> send the notecard to the merchant(s) describing what was happened and asking politely for redelivery. That's the process you have to follow. Good luck.
  10. Builiding right generally is the right you have in a plot you own or no, to rezz stuff (for example to open boxes). In your own place you have this right by default, in other places no (you need to get this right by the owner or another staff). Assuming that is difficult for everyone to have his own plot or to rezz everywhere, Second Life offers for all the residents places where you can rezz stuff (Sandboxes) as Known already mentioned. You can find them if you use the search. Building rights are important. Maybe you can't understand it yet. For example. If you buy an outfit, you can't wear it same time because it arrives in your inventory as a box (which includes contests). You need to unpack (to open it). If you have your own place, you have to go to a Sandbox. In your own place also this way you will decorate your house. I hope with my answer to help you to understand a little more what is building right.
  11. Hello Lasirra and welcome to SL Forums. We had last days many issues with Marketplace and still many users complain about. Especially with gifts the problem seems to be more usual. See: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-3864? and add your comment. I think the best you can do is to submit a ticket https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/ --> Marketplace category --> Failed Marketplace Delivery. Explain analytically what was happened and wait for a reply. Be sure that someone will help you. Alternatively you can try to contact the merchant. Open your Dashboard --> Shopping --> Marketplace --> My Marketplace --> My account --> Order History -->Take a copy of your last purchases (there you see the name of the merchant)--> Open your inventory --> create a New Notecard --> Paste there --> send the notecard to the merchant describing what was happened and asking politely for redelivery. Good luck.
  12. Good Morning Wildcat..... good morning to all! A great song for all of you! Hugs..
  13. Hello Shocking and welcome to SL Forums. Generally you can contact LL with the ways below: Letter (use registered mail) 945 Battery Street San Francisco, CA 94111 Phone: (415) 243-9000 Fax: (415) 243-9045 Email: support@secondlife.com Toll-Free (US/Canada) 800.294.1067 Long-Distance 703.286.6277 Local Toll-Free numbers * France: 0805.101.490 * Germany: 0800.664.5510 * Japan: 0066.33.132.830 * Portugal: 800.814.450 * Spain: 800.300.560 * UK: 0800.048.4646

  15. Hello Chelsea. When you wear a spanker usually you see in your monitor a hud. Just you click the hud, (usually again) a pop up window appears where you can choose who you want to spank and that's all.
  16. Hello Christine. Please check out the following link to check out if you do something wrong: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Voice-chat-FAQ/ta-p/700171 About voice morphing: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Voice-morphing/ta-p/700167
  17. Hello and welcome to SL Forums. If you can't get your avatar means that it is not fully loaded. Usually you see it like a cloud or like a white egg. Please have a look at the following link: http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/doku.php?id=fs_bake_fail Follow the suggestions here step by step and see if something helps. Seems that works for all the viewers. The first time you run a new viewer, the first you have to do is to open your inventory --> second tab called "Recent" in V2 or V3. Wait fetching ALL your items till the last one before to do something else. That means you download from the beginning your inventory. If you don't follow this process, it is logical not to see your avatar. Suggested also to do that (the first time) being in a region without lag.
  18. Hello Alene and welcome to SL Forums. When you click Submit finishing the process choosing your Linden Home, review your Linden Home information on the confirmation page and click Go to your Home or use the Slurl provided. When you are there, you can check if home is yours, clicking the icon called "See more info about current location" located on the left of your adress bar (i). The Place's Profile opens on the right and there you can see the owner. If you see there your name as the owner, the house is yours. To furnish your new linden home, you need to buy stuff. For that i guess you need lindens although you can find several freebies for your first steps in SL at Marketplace. Have a look how you can buy lindens here. When you have cash you are ready to buy stuff at Marketplace or at stores in world. When you get your purchases, you will see them as boxes in your inventory. You can't use unless you unpack them See here how you open boxes. Have fun!
  19. Hello doragon. At first please check out the following link. It's about Trading and Billing limits: https://secondlife.com/my/lindex/describe-limits.php? Your trading limit starts from when you buy lindens for first time and it get increased after it every week untill to reach level 1 (2500 USD / month). In addition anytime you can purchase (more lindens) using one of the acceptable Third Party Excanges: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Linden_Lab_Official:Linden_Dollar_Marketplace
  20. Hello again hermione. Maximum Bandwidth: Here you set the maximum rate that the Viewer can download contnet and the default is 500 kbps (kilobytes per second). A very training article about here. Please have a look. Disc cache size: When you access a file on the hard drive, Windows will store this file in the disk cache. When this file will be asked again, the organizer will consult the cache to see if a copy exists. If so, this copy will be used to replace the existing file on the disk access time will be greatly reduced. Theoretically if you increase the disk cache size you get better performance in Windows, although it hides risks sometimes especially if you use some kinds of ATI drivers. With simple words when we say that a hard disk has 16 or 32 MB cache, we mean the amount of data the HD is capable of having ready for processing.
  21. Hello PrincessAngel and welcome to SL Forums. If i am right while i don't use Firestorm you need to have the pic in your inventory. Open your profile --> Edit Profile --> Click on your pictures --> Your inventory opens --> Choose the pic you want --> OK --> Save changes. If you haven't the pic, you have to upload it. It is suggested if you want to use a pic from your computer or to use Viewer 2 or 3 (because you don't need to pay 10 lindens to upload a pic) or https://my.secondlife.com/PrincessAngel99 (directly your web profile).

  23. Hello hermione. To change your graphics in Phoenix use Menu Edit --> Preferences --> Graphics Tab. It's suggested to click the button "Recommended Settings" there. Be sure that it is the best for your system. If you try to get better performance and quality, it is very possible that your computer / laptop will not be able to handle them and you will have problems with lag, freezing, crashing etc. More settings about graphics you can find in Phoenix again under Preferences --> Phoenix tab --> Second page --> Advanced Graphics. If you are not satisfy with the quality your system can handle, obviously you need a better graphics card. SL is a very demanding application.
