  1. Oh yes ... i just love strawberries, don't you ? /me grumbles : dang .. this is turning into the Vanity Thread ..
  2. @ Ishtara : Heh .. you already once stated you like those textures, I hope it's safe to say the house is made by *** Old World *** . The furniture was made by ~Dirty Rat~ . If you like I will pass you the LMs inworld when you are online. Thank you as well for the insight into your modern home. Looks lovely and comfy. @Victor1st : I will defenitely visit your sims. Did I mention that ? I will defenitely wear some garlic too though. .. Really.. very atmospheric. Almost can hear Jack the Ripper stalking about for his next victim.. but do I see the Eiffel-tower in there ? @ Suspiria : Ah ... very Prince(ss) of Persia-like. You fancy castles it seems.. and tropics. Thank you for sharing. @Melanie774 : Home is where the heart is. Thank you for sharing yours albeit most was underneath sealevel . Thank you all for posting.

  4. *Shrekvoice* : Monkey !! Don't bloody quote a whole post only for a 2 line compliment (which is deserved nonetheless) !!! Come here . I will pull out all your feathers !! :robotmad:
  5. Not a novel on virtual reality, but I smiled a lot at South Park's 'You got 0 friends.' ..
  6. Not sure wether you posted this in the correct section, but answering nonetheless. You seem to want to improve foremost towards processor capabilities, but I'd advise you at first to look for equally priced configurations containing NVidia - graphics. Not to bash ATi on forehand, but SL does have it's quirks with ATi's. Purchasing an i7 instead of i5 should be of lesser impact, eventhough the difference can be noticable. Running SL on Medium settings is not so much of a problem. The problem remains that 'smooth' means high FPS rates which relies on more than just a good machine ( network configuration, lag in general, the crowdyness of a sim, etc.. )

  8. Wildcat Furse wrote: ty Wilhiam, but I like your cozy place too, looks very relaxing and yes romantic *meows* /me blushes. Ty too ... I guess it shows I like it scruffy yet warm. And shuddup in advance, all you wannabe shrinks !! = >.< =
  9. The misty ambience of the pictures suit the builds very well. The scenery reminds a little of London in the late 19th century or any other location in the Victorian age. Very impressive, Victor1st and apparantly worth the visits. /me makes a note to visit these sims later.
  10. Beautiful, Ceera. Used to live in a sjodi-based home myself in the early days of my SL. The serenity showing off of your pictures is very tranquil like Asian architecture usually is. I must say it looks very natural to it's surrounding. Thank you for sharing these fine pictures. Love them all.
  11. Potosi Abonwood wrote: Sigh... one of these days I'm going to make myself a nice home. Currently I just have a Linden one as my personal home and share My Mistresses home with her. I have to give you two thumbs up though, your home looks very nice. Well.. any picture of any home will do. Don't wait to share it .. Thank you for your compliment on mine.
  12. Wow, Wildcat .. = = /me gasps and is left with a 2 word comment only. Absolutely Awesome !
  13. Mags Indigo wrote: Ohhh - very Grand indeed Ian - it looks superb - well done indeed. /me agrees. Good work, Ian. Very detailed and classically classy. Do I detect some Jugendstil ? Very nice bedroom as well.
  14. Thank you, Mags .. I'd make a pub my home anytime too though, but I don't see you in it .. not under the table or tap already, are we ?
  15. Marcus Hancroft wrote: That is a magnificient home, Wil! VERY well done! Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures saved of my place (it's still a work in progress) but I will post some once I get it complete! Landscaping is taking me for-ev v v-err! You're far too kind, Marcus .. actually it's quite simple and I'm convinced I could be easily outshined by others .. Took me about a day now, but I can finally say I settled again for my own enjoyment. I wish others show me examples of theirs as well.

  17. Shooting yourself in the foot as usual like you always have ... :robotmad:
  18. No. Not in the 'style' of the previous forum. Torley does have a workaround to show a kind of threaded view ( only with who is responding to whom but unsimular to what used to be). It has already been noted by several people in the Forum Feedback - thread. I'm not sure if there is going to be a follow up to those remarks.
  19. Venus Petrov wrote: Larger image, please, Wilhiam! Aye ma'am !
  20. No. A premium membership is unneeded for the activities you describe. All that is essential to enjoy SL likewise is some financial institute like iDeal in the Netherlands and one is set. Premium membership is like ranks in the forums. Those happy with it in bliss should remain in that bliss for all I care, but they are not above anybody else. = >.< =
  21. Storm Clarence wrote: Thank you for having my thread moved. I appreciate you 'teasing' the moderation with my OP. Honestly .. I never suspected moderation would oblige the request without notifying you first .. :smileyindifferent: Please don't think ill of me. ETA.
  22. Lexie Linden wrote: I know it is hard to pick just one! /me lost his home today. It's harder when you have one and loose it ... :smileysad: ETA : And found another home luckily which even suits me better. Yay !
