The homes that are over water will be up against houseboat regions, to give a new ability to seque from area to area. This will give ability to add more houseboat regions.

All 1024 sq m homes. Huge decks on the back. Google Florida stilt homes for an idea of the theme.

Theme based on Floridian low-lying areas (hurricane-prone) areas. Brightly colored, open floorplan, in 3 varients: over water version, partial version on land and water, and inland version. All on stilts.

Florida would "probably be more accurate". HOUSES ARE ON STILTS. NEW THEME: Stilt homes!!!

The only hints I've heard (tuning in and out) are lots of decks, and crocodiles/alligators. ETA: Southeastern USA, beignets can be found nearby.

Aww I saw him dancing at last year's SLB, and it was my favorite part of my visit there! Looking forward to your report! I'm in world but not even going to try to elbow my way into that place. lol

That's what I thought, and I've always gone under the assumption that I need to watch radar when I'm moving around at events since I have everyone set to invisible. I was hoping I was wrong, though, because it would be fun to actually make them POOF from the landing point!

I love those things. The first time I came across one was at Argrace, and I rode it about five times in a row just because they are fun.

I think I put that one back a few minutes ago. I caught two trads in a row, after saying there was nothing going on with the LP!

I use that setting once I land at an event and get situated in an out-of-the-way spot (and have movelock on so *I* don't get shoved lol). If you turn it on the second you land, does it allow you to drop to the ground immediately? Very cool, if so, and I will have to try that. (If you want to make that setting even more convenient, you can add it as a toolbar button.)

Maybe that is the next Linden Homes theme!

I totally agree, fellow tumbleweed. I also like catching a home and admiring the neighborhood before I put it back; GOH operates like a tour of Bellisseria for me. I caught a trad the other night that was nice enough, but the parcel next door to it was stunning in how it was landscaped and terraformed. I gawked at it a while, then abandoned and moved along, but the thing is, I'd never have seen that cool house if I hadn't been playing GOH. I need to just keep an alt free at all times for these little "tours". lol BTW, if anyone is wondering, it's all old style LH on the Land Page right now. I've not seen much pop up today other than a trad and a log home.

Oh, any time (zone) anyone throws one into the pool is always fine! I was just laughing at how I seem to always sleep through some of the best abandons. Amazing that it sat there that long! (I do have a beachy one I'm very happy with; I was just admiring yours. )

I having been playing for trads and that one is awesome, but sadly, I'm not dedicated enough to be playing GOH at 4:30 AM. lol (I just had a look at the parcel claim time, and it may have been tossed back by whoever initially caught it. I was still asleep at that time though!)

Yep, last Wednesday.

I used to play the various "war" and other games on Facebook, and had a lot of friends there. One of them joined SL, and she kept showing some of us photos and telling us we needed to give it a try, too. So I came to SL ten years ago with a half dozen or so friends, not intending on staying, and here I am, still on my original account.

The houseboat will only appear when one is available. At this time, one will pop up now and then as someone abandons one, but that doesn't happen often. You just have to keep trying till you see one, since no new houseboat regions are being released right now.
