  1. Alli&Ali...don't have the LM but I believe they are on Wonderland Beach
  2. Ariel Vuissent wrote: I've seen the threads about creating your own forum badge, but I'm simply no good with photo editing software. I have gimp, but I'm afraid all I can do is resize photos, and short of a detailed, personal tutorial, I don't think I'll get anywhere with it. But I'm tired of the default picture being my only "badge." I see such lovely ones, I'd really like to have one too. So, is there anyone out there who would be willing/able to create a forum badge for me? Please PM me here, or IM me inworld (Ariel Vuissent) with details, costs, etc. If someone's willing to walk me through creating my own using gimp, including the photo editing how-to stuff, I'm quite open to that as well - but I imagine that takes considerably more time and effort. That's all I did...took the pic I wanted, resized with Gimp...added in settings the smaller pic for the profile page, that makes the small square one in the corner...viola, done!!!! Easy as pie

It would have to be open to all photographers who would like to participate. It is not 'fair' to use this forum to promote the work of one or two individuals - I disagreed with the musicians in HippieStock for using the forum as a promotional tool, I disagreed with W.E., I disagree with this. Just my two cents. What was I thinking? Threw the thought out there without thinking it through. Nix the suggestion everyone...I agree

  6. Hi Maya...I've been reading about marketplace failures for quite awhile now and have always been thankful that I'd never had the problem...I always got mine right away, until yesterday....ordered something, but didn't receive it until this afternoon. I would give it some more time before you need to worry
  7. @Tiffy...looks cool with that windlight setting!

I took this yesterday after Madelaine mentioned "Holli Would" in the avatar name thread: Backdrop from the "Cool World" movie, look inspired by this picture... Kelli...nice back!! :matte-motes-silly: You did a great job with it...

  11. @Marigold...lol, you look nice!! @Anaiya...I don't know about that...I like the color of yours :smileytongue:
  12. Jaikke wrote: @Kylie: The Americas Cup Racer is a slim 25 prims. Wow, amazing that something that size and nice looking could be so low in prims...have fun with it
  13. @Uncommon...Yay!!! Be anything you want to be, that's what it's all about...although I'm with you on this, what the heck is it supposed to be? What was it called when in package? :smileytongue:
  14. Venus Petrov wrote: Kylie Jaxxon wrote: Why not change your antivirus...I run MS essentials and don't have any trouble in this area with running the FS beta. Excellent advice! I uninstalled Norton and installed MSE and suddenly the SLplugin.exe works! yikes...Norton is so....90's :smileytongue: Glad it worked for you.
  15. Jaikke wrote: Photoshopped the sky but then had to delete 90 percent so back to default SL photo . Enjoying the high seas in my yacht, The Princess Diamond Nice boat, Jaikke...wow, how many prims is that thing? :smileysurprised:
  16. @Anna...hi & welcome Yes, put that lurking aside and join in...beautiful avatar, btw. @Uncommon...don't even try, lol. I tried between other things, but everytime I got through a few, another few would post. Drove me crazy for the longest time, so I finally gave up and joined in at the end of the line.
  17. @Void...lol, and that's fun for you? IDK, I have a hard enough time just keeping Kylie put together :matte-motes-agape:
  18. Void Singer wrote: I actually don't spend much time as my "me" avatar, despite all the work that went into her... kinda boring to me... so I go through phases of mood with my other avatars... anthro clouded leopard librarian when I'm disinterested or educational, monochromatic faun when I'm feeling aggressive or adventurous, ball clouds and black spikes when I'm disengaged or goofy, robotic dancer when I'm feeling mechanical or when I'm partying, child genius when I'm feeling creative or small... etc ad nauseam... that said, I don't do anything in SL that I'm ashamed of, or regret (though I've done plenty that would be momentarily embarrassing). but then I'm very secure in who I am, and if someone doesn't like that :: shrug :: their problem, not mine. Holy cow, Void...you make me tired just reading about your SL. I don't know how you keep all of that/them straight, lol.
  19. @Carole....just read your profile and ROFL. You are too much girl :smileytongue:

If so, why allow your tax dollars to be spent on it? Hi Maddy...you are definitely a deep thinker and you make a lot of sense. :smileytongue: :smileywink: btw...still haven't forgot to drop in on you for the flickr project---been busy moving and getting re-set up, will do it soon

Being, like yourself, rather "genuine", I know what it means to be at cross purposes with those who RP both their lives. I'd still defend their right to do so with my teeth, but it does cause a bit of upset at times. Believe it or not, I have never experienced that personally...I guess I've been lucky in that regard in SL. I have read numerous threads on the issue, of course :smileysad: ETA: I have had heartbreak in SL..I was partnered once and even took it to RL. We parted of our own accord which had nothing to do with RPing, lies or really SL at all.
