  3. My classified ads don't show up in 1.23-based viewers, unless people disable PG and mature content and leave only the adult checkbox enabled. And in v2, the text is now truncated. Could this perhaps be fixed at some point in the foreseeable future, maybe before you're asking me to waste even more money on advertisements that nobody can see?
  4. I don't know if those messages can be changed (perhaps in the viewer code), but these messages should only be show for the very first time you create a prim, receive L$ and so on. After you did everything that triggers a message, you will never see them again. On your current account, that is. If you want to spare future alt accounts from these messages too, you can turn them off altogether in the "Popup" tab of the preferences. The Emerald viewer has a nifty "Disable first time popups" button, whereas in the standard viewer, you will have to manually sort through them in order to keep the useful ones (region entry blocked, resident in busy mode and so on).

Some don't really care about your RL gender, but the majority will feel deeply hurt or raped if they realize that you are not the gender they expected. It's strange, but in my experience, the vast majority of sexual roleplayers in SL either don't care much about the RL gender of their partner, or they simply prefer to leave the question open, out of fear to destroy the illusion. I've only met a handful of people, all of them male (although most of them had a female avatar themselves), who were homophobic enough to feel bothered. But then again, I've always had a "Yes, I do have one" bit in my profile in order to scare them off, so my experience might be skewed. Anyway... here is a bit of advice for people who seek an RL date / relationship instead of cybersex only: Don't have cybersex! Almost all SL women who engage in pixel humping are male in RL. If that bothers you, stick to those who only seek a flirt / friendship, they are more likely to be what you're looking for. But I also know from recent experience that there are a few exceptions to that rule of thumb.

I honestly can't think of anything else. Seriously though (without having read any other response in this thread, I simply don't have the time today), I've found that the vast majority of SLesbians who worry about gender-bending men -- if not all of them -- are homophobic RL men themselves. Please remember to leave all homophobia and hypocrisy at the door when you enter SL, thank you.
  7. Any Tips? Gender-bending is fun! No matter what gender or combinations thereof you fancy. Everybody loves us chicks with d... diverse extra parts.
  8. You haven't spent much time on Zindra, have you? Of course there's that special kind of group act ivities But that's not really large scale. I haven't found anything beyond 4some animations yet, and you can only get so many people into a sim.
  9. we as a group Who as a what now? This is Second Life. The only large scale group activities that happen here are witch hunts and lynch mob gatherings.
  10. Many cultures outside of English speaking ones, I have noticed, don't care about how they treat other players Oh so very thinly veiled. Luckily, that kind of colonialist thinking is something younger generations got rid of along with that precious moral compass thingy. Perhaps they threw out the good with the bad there, I don't know. But I'm certainly glad they threw this part out.
  11. I really don't want to mock anybody, I mean, I'm a second language English speaker myself and know that it's not always easy. But exactly because I'm a 2nd language speaker, I just have to ask: What is barley music Seriously, no mocking. There's always the slight chance that it's a genuine music genre. Like hops rock or wheat metal.
