Yes I do understand that. Back when I started I tried these things myself.. I am not saying I never did and I completely get the adult side. There is already a stigma associated with SL about virtual sex and yeah it draws in users for sure who are looking for that. But after 16 years it is not something I personally am into. Not in any way saying it is not the core of what drives SL. I was just ranting about stuff. And also.. it has not always been an adult place. Just has had adult activities and a separate area for teens.

Yeah, that is kinda why I am not popular in the sex role play scene…

That is so funny because it’s true. The search is flooded with adult places to go most of which are as empty as the rest of SL events. what could possibly change? an influx of more sex driven members and those of us who are not here for that are having in our faces constantly . Like shoving it down our throats even! I feel dirty sometimes if I forget to turn off adult search.. like a big giant who ha dripping who ha tears or a unrealistic pickle with its vinegar juice squirting twords my face… making my eyes burn with embarrassment because my cat sees that *****… don’t get me started in all the miss assigned gifs in search. 👀
