Apologies for my ignorance, but I don't understand you. Where is the debug menu in the login page of the offcial viewer? Or where is the option "logging level" in the Debug menu?

Probably Carolotte is ok. AFAIK many times the window asking for permission to animate is behind the window with the menu options of the object or ball.
