SL will work OK on 2mbps download speed. Of course it is better to have a faster connection, but as there are many many places in the World where this isnt possible, dont let it put you off being a SL resident. :manvery-happy:

Earlier today I had a lot of problems with SL but they have gone now. In the past when inventory wasnt loading, it all came back later when I relogged.

The message you are getting is a Windows message not a SL message and that is shown for any program that is having a problem on your computer. You could try looking at the history in the Action Center (the little flag at the bottom of your screen) to see if it gives more information on what the problem is or alternatively the Windows Events Log (click the start button on the bottom of your screen and put event log in search). If you get any more information you can edit your post here and add this information so that you can get more help. I am so sorry for you that it has been 4 months since you could get on SL.

Yes, I have a few non-US based friends who say they cant update credit card info since the new payments system was introduced. It seems its a bigger problem for people outside the US and its the secure information part of the process that fails. The only thing you can do is contact Linden/SL billing people and see if they can help I guess.

This question is not referring to SL Time but to the 4 hour day and night cycles in-World. I know that some Regions set their own time cycles but for general 4 hour SL time cycles, does anyone know from when the periods run, that is, are they set against RL SL Time? I need to know when it will be day and night in-World. Thanks.
