Hi Cherry, privacy and safety/security is important to the teen residents as well as adults.  We did not ignore what you have raised; we decided to weigh on the side of giving equal privacy rights to both our teen and adult users.

You took an adult grid and added children to it. The commemts of every entry on this subject are full of reasons why it's a very bad idea. Yet another convulsion foisted upon your customers, and again, for no good reason other than "we want this to happen no matter what our customers say".

Congrats Terrance, once again you ignored the opinion of a huge majority of your customers...

  2. Something that no one at the Lab has considered, what about open groups who's clientele is on mature land? They're asking group owners to be responsible for their incompetent half-baked approach to this.

Move PG to it's own continent, just like Zindra had to.

I will never understand why millions of adults have to make so much sacrifice for just a few hundred kids. It's asinine and has zero justification.

  3. Yes, V2 is now where it *should* have been at the point of Beta release.

The "public alpha" period is just wrapping up...

The lab will, however, take their time deprecating V1.x and the TPV's created from it's codebase. The numbers say that 70+% of active residents do not yet use V2 viewers, so it  would be foolish beyond even the Lab's ability for nonsense to force a change now.

All opinions to the contrary, the large majority of residents (via public and private polling) believe that V2 "sucks". That's a tough hill to climb. Be patient, perhaps in a year or so the V2 will functional and immersive enough for mainstream adoption.

  4. It was leaked that one estate was able to arrange that deal, Jack admitted it the next week...

It doesn't look as if another has taken advantage of that pricing, if for no other reason other than investing that much in SL is somewhat foolish.

No large estate groupings of that magnitude have been seen since.
