I could probably spend the eons of time and seek one out but thought it'd be easier to ask here. I'm looking for a shop in a mall with a max of 30-50 prims. I'm not expecting a free shop so if you can, leave info here so I can check it out. Thanks everyone, Logan

That is a start, because all it has to do is randomly select an amount of items, then remove the unselected items plus the script itself

Evening everyone, curious if it's possible to have a script pick X amount of items out of a set of items, remember them, then remove the rest of the items? If so, how would it be done? I'm not a scipter or I would've figured this out already. Was thinking of using the random item vendor as a base but not sure where to go after that.

Only one I know of is the Life2 Community has Mary Janes but you'll have to go through and get the hud and stuff.

Not directly, you'd have to use media on a prim and log in through there to watch, and even then you can't set it up so everyone can watch the same thing. Personal viewing only. We've been over this with a few folks here in the threads ^.^

Evening everyone, I have here a script meant to work with XYText for Neitri's 8 faced mesh prim + xytext v2. My problem is I'm attempting to add a clock to the XYText so that it shows on the prim instead of in hovertext, however it says there's a syntax error in the rederstring. If I add an additional ) or ; to the end of the renderstring, it then says it's not defined in scope when it clearly is. I would appreciate some help in resolving this. Thanks, Logan

Guess I'll add my name to this list too(deleted other thread). Been in SL since beta days, just not on this account. I'm a gamer, twitch livestreamer, builder, fur, lgbt activist, and all around nut(and sarcastic to boot). I enjoy steampunk for it's asthetics although the music can get muddled, edm/metal/dubstep for the beats, and Japan for it's architecture and culture. At one time I use to lead a group, but it's been years(2009ish). Use to do RFL until 'my type' became an issue. I use to think those that left would come back and I'd be here waiting to welcome them with open arms, but no one's returned. One passed away, one left because the other passed away, two moved out of the country, two got themselves involved in CPS, and everyone else just disappeared. I think I'm at the point where any sort of friends would be better than nothing, so if anyone wants to be my friend, hit me up in-world sometime.

Won't notecards not be delivered if you receive too many notices? ie: log off for a day. Email's most definitely an idea..

Afternoon everyone, here to pick some brains. I made a paging system where if someone lands in my shop they click a prim that opens a menu and sends a message to my hud that displays text. Now, is there a way if I'm several sims away for my hud to get the messages? I'd thought about doing IMs or some other way but those put the message in local and get lost in the sea of notices and local chat. I'm open to trying just about anything. Thanks, Logan

I don't know of any products off hand that will sent messages to IM to act as a pager, but when I get home I can probably put something together for you by morning. If not, best luck in your search.

Except Tier in SL is rent and applies only to mainland, outside of that rent is rent(wich side-stepped the topic to begin with). But anyhow, Seana myself and others are right when we say there's just no way to do video so everyone can see as it was replaced by Media on a Prim(and has been like that for at least 8 years). Furthering the argument is beating a dead horse.

Govenor Linden owns all mainland and yes, parcels are divided out to rental agencies who rent out to people like you and me. However, if someone has an issue with their parcel for whatever reason, they ask their rental agency not Linden Labs. My statement still holds true for private sims(and I don't recall seeing a mainland vs private estate anywhere in this thread). I've been in SL long enough to know what's what.
