Hi again Having 2 big problems with Damani MediaViewer. 1. When someone in the group the media viewer is deeded to arrives the viewer either stops completely and freezes or stops playing and starts at the beginning again. This can also happen if menu items are used e.g making a landmark. 2. I have set the viewer so the videos fit the screen and advertisements are hidden. If anyone clicks the screen whilst it is in use the video fit goes to the smaller option which is not good at all and shows advertisements.this happens whether they are in the group or not. I have the settings at owner is the only one who can use it..... But the group is owner. Activation is set to be by touch which could account for the second problem but I have set it like that to try and avoid the first problem. Can anyone help me please? Thanks Venetia

Hi Theresa Thank you for your reply. I don't think he was dragging a notecard he was copy and pasting the urls directly from youtube to to the media viewer. I will ask him though. Once or twice really weird things happened with the screen so maybe he tried to drag a url by mistake from a notecard or something. Venetia

Hi, hope someone can help with my issue. My friend has a Damani Media Viewer (youtube player etc) it is not the Pro version. It is deeded to the land group the club is on and at the time of the problem my friend was the previous owner. We have had the viewer for a couple of years in different locations. It is transfer so pass it between us as needed. We currently have the viewer at a club in the sky on our sim. We have been using it for several weeks and it has been working with no problems for adding youtube url's via chat, reading notecards of a list of youtube url's and playing them and scrolling textures that are in edit/contents. Yesterday we started having a problem that every time anyone arrived at the club via tp or our hostess offered a dance to someone using her hud the media player would stop and restart the video again. This has never happened before, so this morning I had a look at it to see if I could find out what was wrong. I 'took' the viewer and rezzed it again to give me permission to access the settings. As it was rezzing I got a script error with the notecard reader... a stack heap collision or something like that. When it had rezzed I deeded it and had a look at edit/contents. It is full of a huge number of notecards belonging to my friend that were not there before. It was him using the media viewer yesterday (adding youtube url's) and somehow his notecards from his inventory have got into the viewer. I looked at the properties of a few of the notecards (many would not allow me to) and they were all showing as received (not created, some were years old) yesterday 19 July. I have been unable to locate the read notecard script but I think the script error is because there are just too many notecards. I can only think that the 2 problems (tp/dance hud making the screen reset and this notecard issue) are connected. He did also have a few problems with getting the media viewer to play url's but I think that was mainly due to him not knowing how to use it properly. I could see there was some 'clicking anything in sight' being done! I think it is scary that an object can 'lift' things from someones inventory and add them to its own contents. If anyone can help with this or has any comments I would be grateful. I am worried in case we have some sort of problem with sim that has caused it to happen as we have a lot of tenants living on the sim and I don't want them to encounter problems. Hi Amethyst Thanks for your reply. I will ask the tenant to make the bay more sloping away from the parcel boundary and we will try again, I think it was straight down before. I had already thought I might disguise the peaks with some planting of some sort. Thanks for your help Venetia

Thank you for your reply Qie. I had never had this problem happen before (or no one had ever complained about it before) so thanks for explaining that what I assumed was right, was actually wrong. Is there an explanation for why we were unable to correct the problem on the adjoining parcel, do you think it was it just the boat blocking the trraforming? Venetia

Hi, I am a Private Estate Full Region owner. The region is primarily a residential sim. I have owned the sim for about a year now and have never had any problems with terraforming up until last week. One of my new tenants sank a small part of his land by the sea to form a bay right up to his parcel boundary and this disturbed the land on the adjoining parcel in a small area by the sea. The land on the adjoining parcel became all peaked. Both myself and my manager tried to fix this but the land would not flatten in that area, it moved and waved but would not flatten and was not behaving in the normal way for terraforming. I dicovered there was a small boat on the tenants side and thought that must be causing the problem but we had the same problem when the boat was removed. The tenant said he was having the same problem on the other side of his parcel too. He has very kindly made his bay not too near his parcel boundaries but I know that is not how he wants it and I also feel certain he should be able to sink his land up to his boundary if thats how he wants it without affecting the land on parcels he does not own and has no permissions on. I have obviously done a sim restart in the hope that might help but it has not. I have also looked for objects that should not be there and looked for transparent objects too and have found nothing. Can anyone help, or has anyone experienced the same problem? Many thanks Venetia Cazalet
