    Backup a large inventory folder

    I was jus about to chime in & say the same as @LittleMe Jewell.  You are better off creating a box & then dropping copies into said box.   Then you can create a folder called "BackUps" (or whatever you want obvs) and put said box into that folder.    FWIW I break my objects down into categories & put them in appropriately named folders, otherwise you end up with one folder & hundreds, if not thousands, of objects - impossible to manage.

    Same here.

    By saving looks I presume you mean "outfit" ?  You can open the appropriate huds you may need for an outfit & then save that outfit, then each time you wear that outfit via edit/appearance all of those huds will open with it.  Then just close them all & be on your way.    This will also provide you with a convenient list, again via edit/appearance, of all the elements required to make up an outfit.  I use that often, rather than having to dig around through my inventory I can up "add" something from the link in the outfits folder.

    Mine is broken down into various categories, shoes, shirts, trousers, etc. making it much quicker to find a specific item, so what is listed in a specific outfit folder is this:

    So I have been trying to do a Gianni body with the same LeLutka Skyler head that Horus has been using.  I want to have a less heavy body than Legacy & see if that helps with my lag, however I want to look as close to "me" as possible.    Tattoos & body hair are proving confusing re the layers in the Gianni hud .... I've managed to get the tattoo on but have had to settle for the body hair that came with the applier - I can live with that !   But the neck business again .... ??    From the front it is fine, but the back ... yikes !   It is the SL head and the skin is the same.     Thoughts & suggestion welcome.  🙂

    Black Friday sales

    Unfortunately that madness has made it over here too & I avoid at all costs.  Back in the day sales were actually worth while .. when there were pretty much just 2 a year, even then you wouldn't catch me queueing through the night for Boxing Day sales.  Now it seems that sales are on all the time & of course many retailers, brick & online, have been caught  jacking up prices in the lead up to "sale" time.. so yeah, meh.

    Does anyone use ad-hoc tags to sort inventory?

    I seem to have a very small inventory compared to most & still it boggles my mind.  Now I spend a little time every time I log in going through it & organising & deleting.  I've done category folders so now I don't have to remember what those shoes are called & search my entire inventory.... I just go to the shoes folder & look there.  Sometimes sub-folder within category folder to fine tune it down further.  The worn listing in inventory looks great now !      Having recently discovered a pile of new clothes that I never even unpacked(!)  I now have a new clothes folder where new purchases are immediately placed and a generic new folder for other purchases.

    srsly tho - what I don't get about this is that there are, no doubt, thousands of places in SL where you can go for just sex & each & every kink you can imagine, so why hit random people up ?
