  1. Really great picture, love that clair-obscure! What I also like about the landscaping is that the house is so cosy sheltered by the trees but at the same time in connection via vistas with the open water. Anyways, photoshopped like a pro. And I also shout at PhotoShop from time to time 🙂
  2. And in RL in my hometown Utrecht the clouds are as dark as here!
  3. Just can't get enough of dark clouds 🙂
  4. And inspired by rainy/bad weather: I love dramatic cloudy skies!
  5. I bought a moving picture on marketplace of a rainy typical Amsterdam street (the raindrops are moving). I threw away the irritating music box melody 'Raindrops keeps falling...', placed it in a frame and hung it in Waterland house at Dutch estate. I may not live in Amsterdam but in Utrecht, but also in that old city we have streets like this and it rains a lot these days so I feel completely at home :-).
  6. Jogging with Keesie at Dutch estate. The buildings at the background are Zaandam house and Farm house Mondriaan.
  7. In Waterland house lives Mieke Hendriks, a middle-aged gorgeous looking independent woman artist. She is divorced, but her fomer husband lives happily next to her in the Zaandam house. They get along better now then when they were married.
  8. I cant''t do anything else at SL :-). Guess I do take a different approach than most resident sims set up. There are, of course, more residents like me who set up a house, for example, with the idea that there really is someone living in it who has lived a life and has a story to tell. So first invent the person and then decorate the house. But I think most designers of sims think from a designer concept, while I decorate from a writer's perspective.
  9. Patti Labelle ànd Cindy Lauper nailed Lady Marmalade end Time after time live!
  10. A voice to knock you off your feet: Asaf Avidan!
  11. Great you have visited my ole' home at SL! Felt really like home when I picked everything up and located it in the sky and slowly that old Dutch estate feeling came back. Anyway, be allways welcome !
  12. Dutch estate is back! Not on the ground anymore but up in the air. Most of it is nostalgically the same, but I have swapped Hedwigepolder for Waterland house and Zaandam house and Loosdrecht for the Dutch stolp farm Mondriaan. So if you're looking for a romantic place to spend Valentine's Day with your loved one: Dutch estate is open again with plenty of cozy spots with tons of atmosphere to make it a perfect date! https://secondlife.com/destination/dutch-estate

  15. How chilling Irish folk can be! Not very 'cosy' but devistating good. Lankum with Go dig my grave.

  18. After visiting different parts of SL20B, I returned to my own Erasmus Park for an afternoon of theatre with niece Emma at the Delamar theater. Of course at the VIP lounge, speaking of 'glamourous.' 😉
  19. It's what Eddy said: to much to do at SL20B! So hard to choose also. Been to SLB Glamourous, because, well, I am a modest and down to earth guy, but name the word 'glamourous' and I am in. Haven't found out the glamourous part actually, but in the meanwhile I am enjoying myself (as I always do 😉 )
  20. Also this lady is sort of Frankenstein-ish. A bit because of copyright but I also simply love to use collage technique to assemble several images to one sometimes a bit magical-surreal image that look like reality but isn't reality at all. Here is the 'making of.' She is made of three woman (of which one is a painting - hair and eyes).
  21. This remind me of the dusky atmosphere of some real good horror movies (which I adore). I love that.
  22. Lady in white, Copernicus tower. (Enough black and white, over to technicolor 🙂 )
