*chuckles..* i'm glad im not alone.. and i didn't even notice till i had an alt account that i wasnt going to spend money on. the money that came for the maitreya body was from my main account...so really.. i didn't spend anything on her.. and i swear, logging in is like a breath of fresh air because im not hit with so much..folders..and stuff..its Stuff. ..and im almost tempted to just "delete delete delete" stuff from my main..but then i think.. "i might use it" ..but i know i never do >_<

so I was looking over my alternate account last night, its one that I made about 2 weeks ago with all this "stay at home" giveaways going on..and plus the free strong face genus head..like, how could you pass that up? .. the only thing i've spend on my alt account is for a Maitreya body...because..well, i want a decent body to play with. .. i set it out as a challenge for myself, not to spend anything else on the alt account... so i got a free head, a free skin at 7DS.. a free AO, and free clothes at Blueberry, Mesh body Friends, Evie and a feww freebies from the Market Place. ..plus hair from Sintiaka.. and I was SHOCKED how decided my av came out..like it looks good considering the ONLY money i spend was on a body. now i went back to my Main account last night..and i was a bit disgusted with myself at all the stuff i had bought over the last say 7 or 8 months..with the premium account getting $300 a week into my account from Linden..PLUS i fill it up sometimes when i really *want* something.. which only temps me to buy MORE..more and more and more.. on my main account i swear most stuff i might wear once.. and im so embarrassed about it.. when i think to my other freebie challenge account..and how simple but pretty it is.and how it doesnt give a total headache... i had to start to wonder..Why do i need so much on my main account. ..its like a compulsive urge to buy *****..and my biggest problems for spending at the 50, 60 and 75 day sales.. so im TRYing to stop myself from buying.. wallet closed..i want to try and only focus on decent quality free stuff rather than always relying on lindens to buy .. because.. when is enough enough? does anyone else feel the same? .. have you ever come to this crossroad and think "i need to stop" ..or "how much more do i need" ..

it gave me a headache when i first learned a month or two ago.. but i promise, once you got it down and know how to use it..you'll never go back. .. its just..so easy.. one of the best.. best things about it..is changing make up.. "add" > "take off" .. no damn omega relays for switching around and lags.. and if you're a person like me who "saves" looks/outfits..then you'll know instantly what skin your wearing on what outfit..because its a layer..

..i think im going to come off as the av snob here, the av mesh snob.. and an av mesh snob thats only been in SL for 1 year almost. I really really dont like the system stuff. And im sorry for that.. but i just.. I dont get it, ive seen names and people who, when i check their profiles they've been on 7 or 8 years and still look like they've been in SL for 1 day as a noob. .. can call mesh users "barbies" but some of us will look at system user accounts and wonder why in 8 years it looks like you havent done anything to your account. .. with some shops and designers offering next to nothing free bobies and even genus with a free head, and 7DS with a BOM free skin.. so much stuff avaliable.. so "id rather spend my money else where" kinda doesnt cut it when i see so much desigbers are willing to give. And also, if your playing second life and took the time to learn it and still willing to log in after 8 years of playing, you would somewhere have even 10 or 15 dollars to put in to at least.. at the least..get a body? .. Im sorry.. i just.. yeah.. So at the expense of calling the rest of us "barbies" or "plastic" or other names ... please dont.. coz some of us would be willing to help anyone that wanted help to upgrade. .

yeah hun, it felt like i got kicked in the guts.. so you know what I did? i made a spare account for myself, and everything i picked up for her, i also picked up for myself..and i have a nice looking alt account that I can appreciate, since i didn't get any from her. ..

1st question with photos: im having a hard time rwzzing. i own a parcel that i bought on the mainland, and as far as I can tell, its mine by the land infomation.. but sometimes i get a "rezzing not allowed by owner" notice. why? lol.. i own it. one moment i can rezz and the next i cant.. its really annoying me. and i have a lovely peice of land too.. so i dont really want to give it up just yet out of pure frustration... 2nd question: say I do get sick of my land, and decide to sell it, how do I go about this? .. do i click "sell land" first in world? or do i make a post here on the forum FIRST..and then wait for someone to gain intrest..and then and ONLY then do i click "SELL" land? OR... another option I was thinking of, but I don't know if I can.. so im a premium member.. am I allowed to buy x1 512 size of land.. to live in..and then buy ANOTHER x1 512 block of land, but to rent that one out to anyone who wants to rent? and the rent goes in my pocket.. is that something I can do.. because i'd be within my premium of 1024 space. thanks! and heres my rezzing issue.

thankyou all for your replies, yes I have tried the neck fixes but they just make it look worse .. however Katt, your comment in particular made me decide to pull out my mait body and give it a go..and Im suprised at the no seam on it. So rather than give myself a headache, for the time being Im using my mait body and I imitated a "perky" shape on it, so it almost looks the same.. thankyou to all of you for replying, .. i thought maybe I would miss using my legacy, but.. if I know i have the bodies, I dont really mind what i use.. all good

hi all.. so ive been on SL for a year now.. I have maybe 7 people.. on my friend list, and only 1 I tend to talk to, .. Ive had a bad day as well today, tried to help a friend move from a system av to a mesh av, got this person a bunch of good quality gifts, and was told my attempt was ugly and looked like a dogs arse..so.. Im kinda sitting here licking my wounds, and ive taken to the board to vent a little bit... and maybe this was the final push I needed to reach out to others.. Ive been feeling kinda lonely.., I have a nice meshed out bom (bomb) av, boathouse, I guess the last thing I thought I would even be doing is reaching out.. I am not the up and go personality.. so clubs or meeting lots of people is a no for me. I like one on one, or a small group.. maybe about 4 people would be nice.. I do enjoy looking around some of the editors picks in second life places, ..events are kinda boring to me, i dont like paying full price for stuff, I would much rather the saturday sales or access sale. and I admit, I have a habit of getting jealous when I read peoples profiles and see that they have family, sisters, brothers, muma, ect.. coz I think deep down I kinda want a family sorta thing.. I like the nurtured looked after feeling and having people around ..that.. want me around.. I enjoy beaches.. and I enjoy laying around doing nothing >_< .. but with some nice scenery. likes: - shopping sales - hanging on beaches - skyboxes! - lounging at home - exploring some of second lifes editors picks dislikes: - furry/animal avies - scifi/comic stuff - laggy areas other info: 28 rt yes I do have discord female rt heres just a shot i took of me at home, coz I know some people want to see what the avie looks like

i tried to do my own little challenge by putting together an outfit from the "stay at home" items .. this is my try, i think its quite cute actually lol..

On the weekend I bought the new 7 deadly skin from the saturday sale. I looove it so much, and I am a BOM user. I am using a Genus baby head and a Legacy Perky body, and when I wear the BOM skin there seems to be quite a prominent line at the neck (only with 7DS, i have tried PF and the neck line is almost invisable) Does anyone else have this body combo with 7DS?? .. i will need to take a photo and show when i get home, but i'd love peoples help or even your experiences. I do have a mait body.. but i reeeealy want to avoid wearing it if i can get a fix with my current combo.., coz..legacy..lol..

But whats really wrong with having new and shiney simply because you can..? I mean.. i had/have matreya when i first came to SL for the first time last year.. i didnt "need" the freya body, or the legacy body.. i just like them.. and i think the legacy posters, adverts ect.. does exactly what it wanted.. to pull people in .. much like media does in RT.. they "want you to want it" .. and some people fall victim to that, including myself.. i didnt "need" legacy.. and I didnt "need" perky.. but am I happy i got them? Hell yeah.. i love my perky body. And also, lol.. those that are saying they havent seen many people with the legacy body.. go to Scandalize on a sale day or new lucky boards.. lootttts of legacy users..
