What is winter like in Bellisseria? It all depends on what you make of it and the holidays. I'm typically very modest with my own decorations, a wreath over the fireplace, a tree in the house, maybe some lights over the eaves if I have the prims. I do love seeing what others do though. Last year I grabbed a log cabin, winterized it out for a few days to film a little video. It was all gone in 5 days time but it was fun creating some moments for others to enjoy. I myself, love winter regions built for winter, but I'm not overly fond of too much winter in regions that are more summery. I'd not complain though against my neighbors enjoying the holiday to their own liking. Derender is useful if the scene next door is bothering to one's view. I do know the kid in this video had a great time last year!

We've put this notecard together for our wedding guests to help them preset up the best settings to help you gain the best performance for this wedding event. These settings are for the Firestorm viewer but you can take the information here and apply some if it to your SL Viewer as well. The wedding is a medieval-fantasy wedding that will take place on the newly released Bellisseria Fantasy Community Center region. The Bellisseria Community Center regions tend to be graphics intense for your viewers and graphics card, due to the fact that our beloved moles use the higher standards of meshing and LOD, which gives us these beautiful community center regions with the finest detail you'll find in Bellisseria and Second Life. When a region is filled to the maximum capacity of avatars, this will cause client side lag and we're expecting a full region for this day. Which is 60 avatars. Here are some settings we've found to help you run at a better performance and survive the day without missing the beauty and ambiance created on this region by the moles and our wedding crew. Please view images for settings details (THERE WILL BE LAG PLEASE READ) After you have made these changes and saved them, you'll need to restart your viewer and log back into Second Life Note: before making these changes, I normally run my settings between High - Quality with their preset settings. Max avatars of 16, LOD at 4, view range around 130 and so on. I was getting about 5 to 15 fps on this region. With these adjusted settings my FPS went up to 27 - 45 FPS around the region. We hope these suggestions help our guests. (We know the frame rate will drop as more avatars arrive on the region, but this should still help you out.) ☽ 🌑 🌒 🌓 🌔 🌕 🌖 🌗 🌘 🌑 ☾ Reception immediately following Ceremony ☽ 🌑 🌒 🌓 🌔 🌕 🌖 🌗 🌘 🌑 ☾ Once the ceremony ends, immediately head on over to the Reception area. I can't see any issue with early decorating the interior of your home for Christmas now. I believe the guidelines are for just the exterior of our homes to wait until 30 days prior to the said holiday. Although I know many do put them out the day after Thanksgiving outside, just like in real life. 😉

I fixed up this sign for Bellisserian's to use as their Christmas Open House sign, compliments of the Bellisseria Parade of Homes for all to use without being on our listing. I'll send these signs out mid November in the Bellisseria Citizens Group and Bellisseria Events group. The 2020 Candlelight Processional Held at the America Gardens Theater at WEDcot, the Candlelight Processional is a mainstay of the holiday season, combining an orchestra, massed choir and live narration in the retelling of the traditional Christmas story in a spectacular and heartwarming performance! The last of the 2020 Show Schedule: Dec 18 - 5pm SLT Dec 22 - Noon SLT Dec 23 - 2pm SLT Dec 24 - 6pm SLT ------ They certainly do celebrate Christmas and in a big way. This Candlelight Processional was gorgeous last year and they do it each year.
