Now I can't wait for the stilt homes, because maybe that makes more people leave their houseboats. 😁

From my observation today, I see that Log Homes and Traditionals come up fairly frequently and every now and then a Victorian and Camper. Houseboats never or gone in seconds.

That is the best time to reroll for a new home.  Many people abandon seashore vics & trads and great locations for HB whenever they release a new theme.  And i think these stilt homes will be very popular.

It's not against TOS to have alts, or have empty homes. To be honest, your entire "call out" of this resident should be deleted. In fact, it is none of your business.

There is no way for any of us to know who's alts belong to who unless you are privy to their actual account information.  Being in a group doesn't necessarily mean that all the people in the group are all alts of the same person.

Is that a new build?  Does anyone know what the homes on stilts are being called?  Now I would like to grab one of those. So I may have to get a Premium acct for my alt, Taja.

It is not the new build.  We are not sure when that new style of home is being released exactly.  Thatch Lea is Victorian homes.  They are still building them and releasing regions when they are ready.

  4. I went to check them out today.  I really, really, really...... just love them.  They are so open and airy and I love the fact there are so many decks.  It will save prims on that.  They kind of remind me of the open feeling I had when I had an old quad home.

Oh, any time (zone) anyone throws one into the pool is always fine! I was just laughing at how I seem to always sleep through some of the best abandons. Amazing that it sat there that long! (I do have a beachy one I'm very happy with; I was just admiring  yours. :)  )

Yeah I was shocked it sat there that long.  That is me too, I am either sleeping or working when some of these good water ones come up!  But i always try to tell myself if it's meant for me it will come to me.  This is what I like about GOH, gives you the chance to try different parcels and sometimes you really do get a parcel you always wanted.  And you can enjoy, admire and make  the parcel yours for as long as you want and then let someone else enjoy it.

I also think that deep down I just don't want to ever be finished you know?  I love trying out different places and I love the thrill of clicking on the land page and seeing where I end up.   Sometimes it is a parcel I will keep for awhile and sometimes it is a parcel I just want to admire for a few days or weeks.

I having been playing for trads and that one is awesome, but sadly, I'm not dedicated enough to be playing GOH at 4:30 AM. lol

(I just had a look at the parcel claim time, and it may have been tossed back by whoever initially caught it. I was still asleep at that time though!)

It actually sat that long in the queue before it got claimed.   I would go back and check periodically cause I had a moment of regret lol, but I feel fine with my decision today.   You never know when this one might come up again, it's gone thru quite a few people cause I use to stalk this parcel.   And even though I am not a fan of the sand, this parcel was probably one of the exceptions.  I'm sorry I couldn't pick a better time to do it.

Ugh. I so hoped I would not like the new style. I just settled in. This looks like I am so going to like it... All those windows, all that light...

That is my thought too.  Of course I have to wait to actually see one, get one and decorate it, until I know for sure.  But I am super excited anyways!

I have been in Second Life since 2007 and a premium member. I still only get offered the cheap old homes. It really isn't a benefit, if it isn't offered if you pay $39 a quarter. Luckily I pay $325 a month for a sim and enjoy SL. It is very expensive.

Also make sure you are clicking on the drop down arrow when you see Meadowbrook cause Bellisseria will sometimes be there once you do that.

At the risk of hitting anyone's forum pet peeves I will just point out that it is perfectly ok to love cloned regions and it is perfectly ok to not love them.  I can easily compile a list of positives and negatives about them and I'm sure everyone else's list may be different then my own.  But if you are simply going to come on here and be upset with people that don't like cloned regions because they don't reflect your own experience then get over yourself.

I really don't give two flips if someone else loves cloned regions and thinks that there should be tons of them... That's great... for YOUR experience. And maybe be thankful instead that some of us don't like them because we will also be the ones to most likely abandon even some of the better lots in the cloned regions so you can have your 1 out of 7 same lots... or 1 out of 8 same lots... or god help us 1 out of 100 same lots that you want.

This is exactly why I almost did not post in the forums at all about this.  The second you register an opinion on some trivial thing you get all the right fighters coming out of the woodwork that feel they need to shame your opinion into the ground on Linden Homes.

That's fair enough.  I honestly wasn't trying to shame anyone so my apologies if my post came across that way.

Totally with @Frigga Freidman and @Sylvia Tamalyn There was a time everything about Bellisseria was exciting. When we would jump up and down only to be able to get a house, no matter where it was. Now people became picky af, including myself. So now clones became depressing... You know what was depressing? When there were hardly houses available and you had to spend weeks to get one. Refreshing while you hungry, but scared to leave and miss a house. Crying and pissed people on forum, because they could not get a house at all.

If cloning helped fixing that faster, I am all for it.

Totally agree with you and the others.  I remember letting go of my first traditional when they first came out and waiting 2 weeks to get another one.   I don't mind at all that some areas are templates (clones) because I am not really interested in the map.  I want to see the actual area and unless I have a parcel in that area,  I am not even going to think about it.  And lets not forget that these are suppose to be starter homes.   Most people only have one home, meanwhile I have 3 different homes and bring out more alts when there is a new release.   I certainly didn't do this with the older homes.    These new homes are also new to the Moles as they come up with different themes and find efficient ways to get the areas built and trying to make them unique.  Of course they are going to experiment and as far as I'm concerned each region has it's own charm even if a template was used.

Should I go fish for a better one?  There are very few available, but some people have had good luck lately.

If it was me I would fish for a location I would like better.   This one is still nice, but not the sort of parcel I am looking for.   Sometimes I do what you do and try to decorate the parcel, but deep down I know I am not going to keep it even if it is a really nice parcel.  I have to feel it.
