    And I don't understand how insensitive such a thought is, intruding into my personal preference and usage of SL. But to each his own. Others are likewise annoyed at the same Progeny little crap and nothing has been done to respect their preferences. Because of the same lame reasoning. "Why should you be even mildly annoyed at creating an account name and identity that I capture and log elsewhere for my own purposes and charge you to release, without your consent?" There's far more evil in rl, all based on insensitivity towards others and their right to choose as well. What gives anyhow, right? Be well.

    Never seen that myself. Wish it existed everywhere or you could just wear the garlic necklace to keep Progeny away, like it does with Bloodline. Just wish this ridiculous little role play was not imposed on those not interested in having their name and information in some list they did not choose to be on, then have to pay if you want to get out.

    I would rather just sign on to a virtual, animated chat in peace. I could not care less about your naughty list and see your point but it is personal and private just like my block list, and it does not show in anyone's record that charge to be taken out of it. Just a personal preference. I would like to visit a place and have a chat about anything, without having idiots stick close to try to sneak in a bite. Not everyone is into that vampire crap

    I am disappointed that the Progeny little vampires provide no way of keeping safe from bites without asking for your permission, or clearing your name from any of their capricious little lists of bitten victims. Is there a way to request that this be provided?

    That makes a lot of sense, thank you It should be banned, because it makes it very difficult for you to make a report on that avatar if you need to.

    I was in a public, Spanish speaking sim. What keeps me going back? It offers good events and activities, and not everyone is bad. But obviously someone got a hold of some tools to get around SLs mini map detection. I also thought they wore just the alpha. But the bumping was recorded in the help menu under that category and that was how I was able to report it.

    I am talking about avartars that were NOT derendered. So this is not the exact reason why I can not see them. This is a completely new situation. And like I previously said, you can still spot derendered avatars in the minimap, as gray dots. There is another reason why these two griefers were completely invisible and I could only spot their names when they wrote in chat and in the help menu, under pushes, bumps etc.

    No. These came out of the blue. I did not block or derender them. I could not even see them in the minimap to select them. I only accessed their profiles when they laughed at me in chat. Something made them completely invisible while they attacked me, except their actions were logged in the pushes report. And I can still see derendered avatars in the minimap, as gray dots. These were not visible at all to me, but fortunately the admin could see them and banned them

    So, I did use the movelock yesterday and found it works to keep me in place. I went to help, bumps pushes and hits and located the avatar that was pushing me and reported it. However, I could not see her even in the minimap. I could not get the offending avatar in the snapshot for the report. Why is that? The sim administrator could see her and banned her, but I could not see her as she was pushing me. What happened, and how can I prevent that from happening again?

    Anyhow, how many times does an avatar need to be reported before action is taken on its account, beyond a slap in the wrist? How many reports get an account closed or placed on hold?

    So you are telling me that if I do not include the copy and paste from a statement while being pushed to stop pushing me, then reporting it is pointless?

    No, not at all. merely I find myself having to report the same avatar for the same reasons for two days in a row now. Pushing me in G rated, no pushing sim

    What happens after a report is filed? How long does it take to remove the griefer from the land or sim? Why is it that the avatar continues to harass even after reports have been filed? Does nothing happen to them at all?

    Avatars that I block and derender can still push me, not stopping the aggravation. What can be done to impair this_ I report them but it takes too long to get them off my case, if at all. How can I stop a blocked avatar from pushing me?

    Hello, I have known of accounts that were banned from SL as soon as law enforcement got involved. But when we just talk about petty griefers, how many alters can the same person connect as? How many reports will close an email account? Will a griefer be allowed to keep creating accounts under new emails, endlessly?

    Well, yesterday they closed this thread and I could not reply. Glad they reopened it. I can not post the address because then they will really close it again. Here is the issue: LL DOES HAVE some lands for newbies that are not owned by anyone. They do have administrators who are seasoned SL members running it. They offer SL classes, construction classes and free goodies. One of the Spanish sims is the one I am talking about. Come on now, you know that there are introduction sims in SL and they are not privately owned lands. They exist in Spanish too! If you do not know this much please understand that you are not the member I am asking information to. It is too bad that these replies are left alone for members to figure out. Just wish LL would not leave these inquiries out for speculation and a staff person could confirm whether or not an administrator can be investigated for harassing visitors of the sim as alters and if the administrators of their official sims set aside for newbies are bound by stricter expectations and behavioral norms...

    Like I said before, the land owner is Linden labs. This is an official sim. Nobody pays for it, LL provides it for free to serve as a Spanish speaking, learning site. Thank you, I will continue to report those affecting me and encourage others to do likewise. And yes, this land is official. It shows in destinations for new members, and in search. It is a shame to have an official sim entrusted to somebody who behaves like this

    I have reason to believe an official, hispanic and spanish speaking sim's administrator is harassing female avatars through alternate accounts. The individual has bots to increase traffic in the sim, and I suspect creates and changes the names of numerous alters that he maintains. Is it possible to have LL investigate this, or do they not even care if one administrator of an official, LL site breaks the rules in such a blunt manner?
