Zeta a donne de bons conseils. Si vous avez un autre corps, assurez-vous quâil est compatible avec SLINK. Translated "Zeta gave good advice. If you have another body, make sure it is compatible with SLINK." I agree with Zeta on the advice, and the fact that French is way sexier a language than Englishđ

Happy Friday, yay end of the week, -17 below here this morning but at least the sun is out. Thanks to Halo for the Lucy pic! It immediately got me remembering watching Lucy reruns over aluminum foil TV dinners (yum). After Ricky and Fred get upset about the girls' spending, Lucy and Ethel go to work in a candy factory while the boys do housework (below) Lucy and her best friend Ethel, played by Vivian Vance, try to prove that a job is easier than housework, so the couples âswitch.â As the conveyor belt speeds up at the factory, however, mayhem ensues and the women resort to stuffing candy in their mouths and blouses (far right pic). The guys fare no better with housekeeping, burning clothes and turning the apartment into a general disaster zone. Ahhhhhh 50's and 60's TVđ

Getting ready for our 5th blizzard of the snow season, got me listening to "Stormy" on Pandora by The Classics IV You were the sunshine, baby, whenever you smiled But I call you Stormy today All of a sudden that ole rain's fallin' down And my world is cloudy and gray You've gone away Oh Stormy, oh Stormy Bring back that sunny day Yesterday's love was like a warm summer breeze But, like the weather ya changed Now things are dreary, baby And it's windy and cold And I stand alone in the rain Callin' your name Oh Stormy, oh Stormy Bring back that sunny day Oh Stormy, oh Stormy Bring back that sunny day Bring back that sunny day Oh Stormy, Oh Stormy

Happy Friday and First Day of February! Fun fact trivia to impress your friendsđ Itâs the Romansâ fault. Our modern calendar is loosely based on their old, confusing one. Though records on the Roman calendar are sparse and sketchy, legend has it that Romulus, the first king of Rome, devised a 10-month lunar calendar that began at the spring equinox in March and ended with December. It is unclear whether there were any official months between December and March, but itâs likely they were left off because the wintertime wasnât important for the harvest. The second king of Rome, Numa Pompilius, decided to make the calendar more accurate by syncing it up with the actual lunar yearâwhich is about 354 days long. Numa tacked on two monthsâJanuary and Februaryâafter December to account for the new days. The new months each had 28 days. But that didnât sit well with Numa because even numbers were considered bad luck at the time. So, he added a day on to January, giving the year an odd-numbered 355 days. No one knows why February was left with 28 and remained an unlucky month. It may be related to the fact that Romans honored the dead and performed rites of purification in February. (The word februare means âto purifyâ in the dialect of the ancient Sabine tribe.)

Happy Friday Everyone! Welcome to Second Life Joe (no advice just be kind to all you meet, and don't take any wooden nickels! Which means be cautious in one's dealings) Going to celebrate tonight by watching the original Bachelor Party movie starring a very young Tom Hanks. Great music from the the 80's too. Say what you will about his dramatic roles (Forrest Gump, Green Mile, Saving Private Ryan) his early movies (Splash, Bachelor Party, and Money Pit) are very very funny! Special thanks to Rolig and Maddy for helping me embrace winter and a gift for you belowđ There is a beauty in a winter landscape for sure!
