My situation is somewhat similar, purchased the Bento Dante body, hands, and feet but have not purchased the head yet for it. I am wondering if I can still use my classic avatar head with the Bento mesh body? I know this sounds funny but I like my classic head and would miss it on my new body. Thanks for any help! P.S. I never realized how much work and how stupid I feel going from classic to mesh.....sheesh z

Oh thanks Talli I will investigate renting a cheap place but would love to display some of your art work for sale! I am kinda thinking like an old Mom and Pop corner market without any food itemssince they do not sell well in a virtual world. OMG! I recently rented a home, now hopefully a small little business, and recently posted an ad on a dating site, yikes I am on my way to become a lifer, Second Lifer.

Super dumb question (maybe).....if i wanted to start a little business with a shop and sell novelty items like house knick knacks, paintings, and just some cool novel stuff how does that work? I have had a few friends do it but never bothered to ask how. I really do not care about losing money on the venture but it would depend on how much money it costs to start a little shop. Also, do i have to create all of the items i would sell in my shop, or could i resell items that i find (like ebay). Anyone who has experience starting a little shop or business I would appreciate your knowledge/experience.

The novelty of it all in the early years (2005-2006) was really something else. The first time you flew and scanned over the land; going to the same sim night after night and running into the same four or five people because that's how many people it felt like were on SL at the time; and yes of course the first romantic dance at Frank's Place where you dress up and meet beautiful women from anywhere around the world and try to flirt with each other with the language, culture, and time difference. Priceless

Thanks Anya for that explanation of all of the permissions etc. Some of us just go shopping without checking those things out first. I tend to be an impulse shopper in SL so this helps I am still trying to return the bacon suit 4 years later

Wow Lillith thank you so much for this information. I think Shakespeare said it so well many years ago; " To mesh or not to mesh, that is the question." Ultimately, when you have been on SL for as long as I have (9 years) two different avitars, I think the question is more like which mesh, which mesh should i choose, and now I am smarter because of you

Anyone have a favorite mesh avitar brand that they can share? I am wondering also how much i can expect to spend on a mesh avitar? Thanks!
