Already saw the one from Sugar Garden, but I'm looking for one that has higher platform. Thanks. Here are some choices that look similar to the example you posted and what you describe: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Miss-Canning-Dakota-heels-Slink-Feet-High-Only-12Color/5938651 https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Total-Black-platform-heels-MusiQ-Designs/5953920 Similar but does not have the thong style: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Renegade-Lucy-Platform-Heels-Slink-High-Black/6027819
  3. Hi If you do a search in world for DJ School several things will show up for groups and places. You can look into what is being offered by contacting the users related to those groups/places. Also, there are tutorials on youtube that you can check out. Good luck :matte-motes-big-grin:
  4. I'm with you on this one and I just recently learned a bit about these new mesh avatars from someone inworld who was wearing one (although I would like to know more). This is what I know so far based on this person and their avatar: >You wear alphas that make your whole default avatar invisible >The layer clothes (system clothes) won't appear at all because of the reason above >The new mesh shape is like one entire piece or they come in components that include hands, feet, head, and body >most of the mesh clothes out today will not fit (the person I spoke to told me that they can only wear the outfit that came with the avatar) >Their new mesh avatar can not be modified >The eyes do not blink >It did not look any better than what we have been using already, just "different" It's like those animal avatars that come in our inventory except the new mesh avatars are human form.
  5. Thanks :matte-motes-big-grin:
  6. 1. this is a basic one (it does not look Hiphop to me but idk) https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/monso-My-Fur-Hoody-Black-guys/4500536 2. this is a Varsity style (jacket with hood) https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/AMERIE-M-Stadium-JacketGray02/4515426 3. another basic hoodie but looks more fitted than the first one, option to wear the hoodie without the jacket and color change hud: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/CREDO-OliveLeatherJacketwHoodie/4168290 I think there are demo version of all of these
  7. Abranimations makes some feminine standing animations with very subtle movement (if used individually or 2 at a time), you can retrieve them from these huds: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/646/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93&search[category_id]=&search[maturity_level]=G&search[keywords]=stands
  8. Why are you responding to me? I did not post the original question, I responded to the original question and your response to me does not apply to what I wrote.
  9. Each person in your business must register for their own account and they must each use a distinct valid email address when they register for SL. Some email services allow you to create a group email account, each person has their own name on the email address but the address itself (after the @ sign) is your business name and this is hosted by the specific email service. This way you are all connected through the business email but you each have a distinct account. It's like JohnShmo@mybusiness.nit , JaneDoe@mybusiness.nit, etc... but it's hosted under a popular email service. If you insist on using SL as opposed to other web meeting software, you can do the following. Rent a small parcel of private land with a security feature, create a group with closed enrollment, then only allow group members (your employees) onto the land. You can then conduct meetings in SL with your employees.
  10. Just incase you can't find that exact hair, this one is very similar: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/BDR-Aiden-Hair-Demo-Short-Straight-Hair/1804399
  11. I switched to SLV3 from FS and I noticed that FS bridge thingy in my inventory, Can it be deleted? I don't think I'm wearing it, I don't see it in my curent outfit. Thanks

I have to modify my shape for seperate outfits to get it to fit perfectly 2. not all alpha layers are made to fit the mesh item well 3. Can't combine with other mesh items, some examples: mesh pants + high boots =no mesh jackets + plus mesh shirts = sometimes no Prim pros: 1. You can can easily wear them under mesh clothes and other items 2. When it comes to long gowns, I prefer flowy prims. Mesh gowns look stiff and your legs are usually invisble cons: 1. most of the styles are outdated now 2. the prim attachments such as collars or cuffs do not blend well That's a good, fair summary. What it says is that neither mesh nor "standard" prims are perfect. There's room for both. Any designer that uses only part of the toolbox available is missing out. I do agree that there is nice mesh clothing on the market today. I have some that I'm quite pleased with, especially after I have remade the alpha masks that many designers seem to have trouble with. I will not abandon flexi prim skirts, though, and will not buy many mesh skirts unless they are pencil skirts that are not intended to flow. A mesh skirt simply looks like I'm wearing a rubber suit. It bends as I move, but it cannot flow and flounce as I walk or dance. It cannot respond to a gentle breeze. Flexi skirts have their own problems, but they beat mesh hands-down when it comes to mimicking the way a real skirt moves in RL. If I could add one more "con" to add to your excellent list, I would say that I am disappointed that I cannot easily wear mesh clothing AND non-mesh clothing at the same time unless they were meant to work together by whoever designed them. For example, I have a great mesh blouse in my inventory. I can't make my own outfit with that lovely blouse and a flowing flexi prim skirt, though. Since it didn't come with a mesh skirt as part of an outfit, I can't wear it with any other designer's mesh skirt either. Mix and match isn't an option with most mesh clothing. Exactly Rolig, I could not have said it better. Even though mesh is becoming more of a popular choice now, we still have room for prim clothing. We are in a transitional phase right now. Alot of SL users still have prim in their inventories and they are recently trying out the new mesh items while mix/matching them. Some users don't want to change, which I highly respect. However, I'm always open to new items in SL but it's always good to use your own discretion. Take your time and try it out first. The experience is different for everyone :matte-motes-big-grin:

Sonja Smedley wrote: Or this one.... https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/DEMOCiarDarkcherry-MS/2642507 Thank you Sonja, I checked that out after Syn posted it, not what I was looking for, but thank you. The 2nd one you posted was not mesh and did not have the hairbase, but the style was somewhat similar. Thanks, keep them coming if you see anymore, I really appreciate it. I'm still searching myself:matte-motes-big-grin:
  15. thank you Insilver, I will try that one :matte-motes-big-grin: UPDATE I took your suggestion and went to this store inworld instead and actually found another style there that was more similar to what I wanted, it's this one: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/SugarsmacK-DEMO-Sachi-French-Vanilla/4812821 I may have never found this store if you did not post it, so I thank you so much for your post, It was very helpul Insilver. I'm contemplating the demo and waiting for more suggestions, but I will probably get this. Thanks again :matte-motes-big-grin:
  16. thank you for your response Syn Yes, I just saw that and tried the demo (first one). It was exactly what I was looking for except it has a side ponytail and I want a back ponytail. That hair is very well made, the top part blends perfectly. I went to the inworld store to see if the creator also made that style with the back pony, but she did not. I was going to contact her to see if there was a chance she was going to in the future (she does not do modifications or custom work and I don't want to ask for that anyway). I also tried the the 2nd one, but the back part was too full and the top is not a hairbase, it's a full mesh piece (you wear the hairbase underneath and you can't wear the back part seperate from the mesh top). So, I'm still searching thanks again :matte-motes-big-grin:
  17. Hi all I'm looking for this exact or almost exact hair style in mesh (see pic below) 1. ponytail in back 2. bump it on top with pulled back sides (hairbase for pulled back, mesh bump it) and/or just pulled back completely hairbase (can be flat on top) with mesh ponytail in back I'm not interested in having this custom made, I just want to get something that already exists. If anyone has seen this, please let me know where (MP or inword). Thank you :matte-motes-big-grin:
  18. Alot of places that sell skins now sell slink appliers. Check the store where you bought your skin or contact the creator.
  19. Have you considered contacting bloggers directly? If you do a search on the internet for "second life fashion blog" you can find many blogs that have different criteria for advertising and/or reviewing your items. You can also contact blog groups inworld. Antoher option are cooperative businesses inworld that feature items from all different creators/designers such as Collabor88 and Fameshed. I'm not sure what they require from a creator/designer but you can find out. Good luck
  20. Maybe this: The jacket, pants, & scarf from this outfit https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Shirl-Prussian-blue-Business-suit/360442 With one of these shirts: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/GN-Quality-Design-Briella-Pantset-Navy/2408155 https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/IROS-Silk-Blouse-White/5000981 and one of these mesh skirts: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Peqe-PencilNavy-Partial-Mesh/3783190 https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Juneiva-Highwaits-Pencil-Skirt-Blue/5181708 https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/bilo-Pencil-Skirt-Dark-Blue/3330833 https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Blue-Linen-Pencil-Skirt/5554784 https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/OSITO-Pencil-Skirt-Dark-Blue-MESH/5327749 It would be tricky to match the shade of navy blue when buying separates. Good Luck and I hope you find what you are looking for.

  22. Hi all, I'm using SLV3 and I normally use Midday (for the sun setting) in my viewer but then I changed it by going into World>Sun>Use Region Settings. After teleporting to different places, I arrived in one place that had great regions settings. I'm wondering if there is a way I can save those particular settings in my viewer so it looks like that every where I go? Thanks for your help
  23. Hi welcome Here are some tips for wearing mesh clothes: 1. Choose ADD instead of wear, this way you don't accidently replace anything if you are wearing multiple alphas or items in the same area of your body, etc... (this is also helpful if you are wearing multiple tattoo layers) 2. Mesh outfits usually have an alpha(s) and 5 different sizes, choose to wear one size only and wear the alpha(s) by adding. For example: a dress may just have one alpha but a top with pants may have 2 alphas. Sizes are usually XS,S,M,L,XL 3. Make sure you have a modifiable shape because you may need to tweak your shape in order to fit into the mesh clothes perfectly. See which size fits the closest and modify if needed. For a female avatar you usually have to modify breasts, belly, saddle bags and/or fat There are standard size charts for shapes regarding mesh clothes, you can do a search for them. But, your shape may be ok for a certain size and you can adjust by looking. have fun:matte-motes-big-grin:
  24. The avatar in the pic you posted looks alot like the model in this picture on MP, but this is for the outfit (same model is used for other items in this store). You can try to contact the person who owns this store to see which skin/shape they used on this model: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Soedara-Cihuapilli-Earth/4558032 Good luck and if I come across this actual shape and skin combination, I will post it on this forum.
  25. I had this problem and it happened under two different circumstances for me. First, it happened with ones (nails) that I bought from a certain creator/store but then I purchased some other nails from 2 other different creators/stores & it has not happened with those other purchases. So, in that case I can say that it was the "quality" of the the first item. I'm curious to know the place where you bought them but we can't mention that here. Another thing that caused it was when my avatar's hands would get stuck in that wierd animation when they look like the hands are stiff and fingers are spread out. It's like the avatar is having an AO conflict. I used to have this happen if I used certain pose stands while wearing my old AO. I have a new AO now and I no longer have that issue. But when I did, I would go into preferrences and choose "stop animations" I know you said that it happens when the hands are clenched in a fist but it could be a similar issue to what happened to me. First try "stopping animations" and see what occurs when your avatar resumes moving with your regular AO. Then try a different AO. The next thing you could do, is try a different pair of nails from another creator/store. You can try all this to see if anything can be ruled out. Also, make sure you choose WEAR or ADD, so they attach to the intended default area. I have found that choosing ATTACH and then picking a body part can mess up postions of objects worn on the avatar. For Referrence: I don't have mesh hands and I no longer have this issue now.
