I think if anything it should have repaired itself over time.. thats just my guess.. maybe it was just a plain old glitch but I could be wrong.. dont stress too much on it!!

Try expanding the date of what transactions you have had in the past month or two to see everything.. there should be some reason.. if not then its all a glitch.. OR it could have been group liability funds but even that would show up.. i wish you luck with your findings and ressearch.

It might have just been a bad day for second life residents.. I would suggest you do searches.. the most traffic tends to have the highest amounts of activity or at least nice things to look at!! Sometimes you just might wander into an empty place.. second life is HUGE and because of that.. residents are spread out EVERYWHERE at every time.. the joys of second life.. you just have to find the crowd.. be patient and have fun!

I dont know about everyone else but I think that would have been a hilarious attempt at least.. to see things just stop right where they are.. lol.. i dont see ads right now but thats maybe because im responding to year old posts..

I hink you might teleported onto land that is just private or restricted.. Try logging again and pick places mainland and at least assure yourself that you can teleport.. i dont think there is anything horrible wrong

Usually any and all things I create myself.. I cannot get rid of anything I make myself no matter how dated or idiotic or downright lame it is.. It is my creation and I shall keep it!!

I think it could have been just a a plain and simple group liability thing.. where you join a group and they charge some fee for liability for land, expenses, ect. This is just a guess, if you are concerned then ask Linden Labs Billing Center.. they should be able to fix that for you or at least explain it.

You can either set your own somehow (I forgot if you can) or just mess ith your entire keyboard from start to finish to see what you can come up with. Some feautres can include hovering over things and they can display the little info tag and show if there is a bound key to it.. I use most often: Crtl + 1 = orbit camera control in Build Esc = resets camera to where it was originally Those are only the ones I use most often but you can do others if you find them ... lol

Forgive me that I kind of laughed at this experience you had, not in a harmful way at all but only because he seems very very veerryy childish. That attitutde he had was ridiculous.. I think you might be right about a bad prank. And others have said on here to not waste your time with that person and I strongly agree.. if he wants to be friendly then turn around and be a complete asshle.. that just comes to show that he is in fact.. just an asshle.. so ignore him and his nonsense he is bring. Honestly I would have so much fun with this!! I admittedly do this often actually.. Yes the ban lines and access lines are soo dreadful to come across but if there is land around it.. go around to try to get from one place to another.. They should do this for a huge sl event .. it would help with a lot of exploration and people get to see stores and such that dont appear in the search.. maybe a business boost if anyone is actually willing to go for this challenge. The only issue would be for others on private islands to get off of those islands onto mainland and vice versa.. But yes I think this would be hilarious to watch and experience with others. ....I'm honestly thinking of suggesting it to linden labs but I know they wont do it.

I dont know about extinct but I would totally LOVE to bring back mythological creatures... If I could have a zoo with a phoenix in the aviary .. I would do it!! Other myth animals such as the fairy or lochness would be a great addition aswell!! But as for extinct I would go with mammoths aswell or prehistoric aquatic types.. those would be interesting to see.. like little swimming pieces of history and exoskeletally intricate bodies..

I dont know about all of the nice things that some others do in second life but In-world I take up my time as an exotic dancer or just an exotic person in general, I chat for like... ever .. lol.. I also do roleplaying most often!! I adore roleplay.. back in 2007 I got into roleplaying on secondlife and never stopped. I teach roleplaying for those who are interested, I teach dancing in secondlife aswell and others things related to that.. Outside of secondlife, things I do related to secondlife are usually revolved around creation. I have a place on the marketplace where I sell some things and resales here and there, and a few creations I make myself from time to time. Right now I am getting into mesh body clothing creations, and once I find out how to do that I am going to be up for nights on end creating things. I am an artist and thats just what I do. Other than that If im not roleplaying or whatever.. I just go to a nice place and sit there forever and watch other avatars walk by.. more peaceful than you think!

Griefing is destructive so I dont think that is destructive.. maybe that person is just being friendly.. Maybe you appear as nice to that person or maybe they just really need to get rid of some lindens. Maybe that person does it to others to get them all to come back at some point? A guarentee for a linden each time you visit? Sounds like it could be a thing to me but who knows.. maybe you are just lucky!

Yeah the internet is full of results for that.. I make sl clothing with gimp myself from time to time and I do my texturing there aswell... get yourself some body templates and make some layers and just go at it.. Have fun!!

Heyy there!! I have a little second life marketplace store but I am going to be making maybe another or a few more for various things such as tattooing and clothing and maybe shoes here and there, maybe even hair if im patient enough. I will revolve aorund my gothic style and culture in my creations but one thing remains to stump me... I have not one clue what to potentially name my brands or stores for all of those creation genres listed. I have seen some other suggestions over the internet but I run into the problem of them all sounding good or bad to me.. and I cannot seem to find one that sticks out the most. I am open to suggestions to see what I could possibly name my goth-styled stores.. Suggest anything you want to.. I take all into consideration at least to some extent!! What program does one use to create something for a mesh body and do they have templates for this kind of thing? How in the hell does this work? There are several questions I could ask but.. I think the simplest way to ask this is : Where do I begin? How do people make layers (clothing) and for mesh bodies (i.e. Maitreya Lara, Slink Physique, The Mesh Project, ect.)? As seen in this picture I made a test object because this is not the first time something like this had been uploaded. Blender was used to make this and after battling around the fact it had an issue with parsing, i got it but this is what it appeared as inworld. No texture has been added to it yet and this is it in its plain form. It seems like almost a 'cell' formation where the outside of it seems to be showing through and only presenting the inside as solid. It is giving it some sort of an optical illusion effect because in its actual form, it is straight up and down, not as it seems to be appearing. I have no idea how to explain this but this has been happening to more than one thing iv uploaded, texture or no texture. I added the 'default' texture to it and some coloring to see what it could get, and it still is doing the thing it was doing before. No transparency is in any texture and the object is not meant to be transparent either. Any ideas what is going on with these things?

I would like to ask the community of SL what programs are used for mesh creation of anything from clothes to hair or whatever.. I would like to start trying out various things to see where I can use my virtue of patience. I tend to be rather good at adaptation for programs but.. I have no idea where to look. I am one of those people who has a variety of ideas for creating things so even if i were to be specific about what to make, the list would still be long. But if I have to be specific for the general ease of the public not knowing where to start (incase there was a large variety of programs for various things) I was thinking more along the lines of just clothing maybe, texturing, and hair-creation. If that might be too difficult I would like to get into furniture creation. Any programs used for mesh creation would be helpful, for I would not be picky as to what I made as long as I knew I had a program to make it in, I would make it. Also, a big help would be finding a program that helps with texturing mesh items, as I have tried to make a mesh item in a program but I had difficulties texturing items.
