  1. Hi all, I am having a very small issue. I have created a hammer of sorts on Blender, experiemting, getting used to the program, I can upload it to secondlife fine, no issues when uploading but, the issues start when i attempt to rez the object. The object rezzes, but, is not visible, 100% invisible, even when on build mode, rezzing the object I can see it "Exists" but its completely invisible. Resizing the object, the resize sections are even further away from the initial object. But, when i wear the object, I can see it perfectly. But, the X Y Z move tool to adjust it to my hand, it, once more, really far away from the object. I have attached some images with the issue at hand. The first, being my blender file itself.   2. Hi there, I am attempting to move towards using Firestorm, I have set up some of the base features to my comfortablilty and liking. Yet, I am having some issues/questions on possible settings? For example. "Enter" always opening the nearby chat. I normally used "Enter" to start typing on the selected window i had open at the time. For example: I have my friends IM window open in the conversations window. Yet, i go off focus (lets say i simply clicked a buy now object in world). Normally, i would press enter to instantly start typing to the IM window I had open at the time. But, wth firestorm, it simply brings up/changes to the "nearby chat" window/box. Is there a way to disable this? ---------------- 2: Another minor issue is, as a sim admin, I would like to know if group chat windows have an option where i can see who is currently inside the group chat? A small side window, or something like that. ----------------- These are the only issues i have currently, but, any help would be great. Thanks! ----Edit---- is it also possible to only have messages of people/friends logging in and out in their own IM windows? So i know when someone goes offline with a spam of all my friends logging in and out?
  3. yes i have, used to work before but for some reason no viewer would seem to notice one being imported, the drop down menu for DICTORNARY type wont appear, its just empty. I have used all the types of files the wiki offered, with no luck at all.. alwin ? You can import spellchecking files, most modern viewers, in chat, have "Spell checker" with the ability to import your own files as a form of support.
  4. Hey all! I really need some help, I have spent ages attempting to import multiple files for the EU spell checker Dictionary filetype, with no luck. It is the correct file format, but whenever I finish it and click "import" it wont appear on the drop down menu to select your desired dictionary... I am using "Black Dragon" as the viewer type, and have tried a massive range of files just to be sure, even ones I do not need, with the same issue. Anyone know how to fix this issue? Thanks!
  5. Thanks, would this all be in one script? I have 0 Scripting knowledge so not sure I will be able to do this (Kinda need it soon, due to sim creation, promises, the works eheh) yet I will give it a shot.
  6. Hi there, simple question, I am using this script: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Follower_script The second low lag script, and i am wondering if it is possible to add a toggle feature? When clicked, the object follows the person whom clicked it, then, when its clicked by the same person later on (or the person logs / tp's) it returns to its original rez/placement for others to use. Thank you!
  7. hey all, i logged on today and noticed 2 new items in my Recieved items folder, both made by me, ages ago, does this happen sometimes? Old Recieved items wriggling up on top and shown as new? Or does this mean someone has used my account without my knowledge? ((The items were made by me, i am the creator and owner, not sure if its a "store test" issue/delay, but i never "tested" them to be delievered)) Thanks for any help x

  10. Hey there, I am looking for a shape builder who can make me a custom shape, possibly full perm so I can alter it if needed to in the future. Its based of a Anime Image, ill need contact in world, as I am not 100% sure if it can be uploaded here. ((Its not rude, you know, like how parts are covered, etc etc)) was the only shape which i desired, sadly, it came on a picture of that genre. ((Anime, of course)) This is not a anime body, more of a "Girly boy" shape. Please reply if you can help, and hit me up on SL, "LouiseDeBlois Resident" as well, if possible, some images of previous works, and your desired price range? Thanks!
  11. So sorry about that! Ahah, here is a screen shot while i play with it more with the advice you have given to me. It is also a bow, as in a weapon, for fantasy sims etc. ((Meant to look like wings when on the back)) Ill also add on the texutre, I have UV, UVMAP, then cubed, will it being cubed also effect the baking?   12. Dont worry found out myself, but now im having another issue, i got how to shadow bake down, but the shadows are not smooth, they dont blend into shadows, some areas, mainly the corners are bulky, dark black solid shades with no transition. Thanks!
  13. Quick question, is it possible to shadow back without the outter objects? Using the natural light source? Also, the object contains 3 parts, the bow has 2 types of the same texture, yet on slightly darker 1 texture for the bow string. Can i join them together, and still shadowbake in one go?

  15. Hi there, I am having issues with blender, I have watched countless tutorials on how to do shadow baking, yet it never seems to work... On both sides, the middle object i want to be given the shadows from the other versions under, and above it ((linked together, yet the middle ones are not)) There is a light source above them, and under them as well. How does on shadow bake this? I have tried unwrapped, UV, etc etc, with no real luck. Thank you!
  16. Thanks, i have got the HUD working now with a touch start, then a region say after text input. Now that I have a HUD, another issue has opened up with its "placement" I have to edit and move it to where i wish for it to be on screen, but whenever i detach it, then re-attach, its back in the old, non-saved position ((top left, off screen, i have to shrink my UI to re-move it)) How would i fix this issue?
  17. aye, the command is set to listen to anything said on the 121 channel. How would i make this into a hud, i click, a message box pops up so i can input a message, then "submit" to send. Tried the llRegionSay yet no idea how to create the input box. So it would be like: - button on screen, a hud -on click, shows a input message -i type the message -press submit -the channel code gets sent to the object, then speaks it. seeing as the llRegionSay is scripted to a set, stuck message thanks
  18. Hi there, I have a item which allows me to speak from it, using channel /121 But, i have to be in radius of it, for it to pick it up. Is there anyway for me to have a hud, which i can click, input a message with the 121 channel. So i can be on the other side of the sim and still use it? Thanks -Mio
  19. Hi there, just a quicky. I have a item in blender, all parts textured differently, and joined together. How would I add shadows to them? is there anyway to draw in shadows? I tried texture baking, no real luck :( Where am I going wrong? Object had 3 different textures. Joined together. Tried shadow baking with objects around it (following tutorials) no luck. Seen people "hand draw textures" wanting to know if I can add simple shading to a UV map... oor something

  21. Hi there, I am struggling to make a basic trap In short, there is 2 main objects, a small container, and a flag. I have tried coding them seperatly (I have no coding skills) So when the container is clicked, it goes "Trap disarmed" then "llDies" both the continer, and flag. But I can never seem to get it working, same with if they clicked the flag, smoke effects should emit (I have that script sorted) which then auto dies.. How will I fix this issue? no idea how to construct a llListen and llSay if they are need, and I have already tried most of the online Script wiki's LL provide.... Thanks a bunch x
  22. Hi there, I have been trying to upload a exported .DAE File into secondlife. Within blender the "materials" are set to 3 sections. And then I have joined all the sections together, forming one solid peice of mesh. But whenever I upload it onto secondlife, i always get the grey model without textures. 1) I upload with include textures on the uploading screen 2) When exporting the dae file, i have the "Include materials" box ticked as well. What do i do to fix this issue? ((not good with blender, so if theres some complicated things, pleeeeease try to dumb it down for me xD)) Thanks

  24. thanks On blender i done the backface culling, and it is now showing the same thing i get on sl. Can you say how to fix this issue? Not sure what you mean about flipping etc
