Microsoft take it to the next level already in IE10 they made a google blocking Tracking Protection list which you can add in to IE10. is optional and you have to get off the Tracking Protection webpage yourself they name the list: Stop Google Tracking that's pretty clear lol (:

you making it more complicated than it needs to be + I go thru it ok. like how I use it now. and how I would like it lets say I set to display 20 results per page I get indicator is 200 links. ok so I know is 10 pages of returns available in my history I already look at say 60 of them. is 40 more I haven't seen I know is going to be 10 pages I have to open + but if I can see only blue on all those 10 pages when I open them. or blank even. then I can find the info I want faster as opposed to how it is now. 10 pages with 20 links on each. some purple. some blue. and I have to filter them with my eyes it don't make the search engine go faster this. it helps me go faster to find what I want to know about what I don't yet know about is about research this for me. I want to know what I don't know as quickly as is possible

(: it already knows what ones I have looked at. the blue links I have not looked at yet. the purple ones I have. the purple ones are the ones in my history I just want the browser to not list the purple links as an option. bc can sometimes be pages and pages of purple ones. and I have to go manually thru all the pages to find the blue links each time browser already filtering the return data against my history to change the link color to purple. I just want it to not display them either. the purple ones. when I choose that option

would seem that is not switching to use the AMD 5xxx series video card driver and can only see the Intel HD graphics this can sometimes be caused by your Intel drivers not being up-to-date for Win8. check all your Intels here: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/ don't rely on Microsoft Win8 Update for drivers. the generic drivers for WIn8 default install and still on Win8 Update are hopeless out of date now for lots of computers if having problems with drivers on Win8 then best to check directly on the manufacturers website + lots of games can run on the Intel HD. is maybe why you haven't noticed yet before now

is pretty much defo lag mesh + textures combined are quite a lot of data to receive. can take ages to get it all downloaded sometimes + I got quite a lot of mesh clothes. wear all the time. quite often when I cross into next sim then it takes them off and only a head and hands (: then anything from 0 sec to 2 minutes to rez on again dunno why exactly it do that. something to do with the sim changeover most probably. like for a few seconds it don't yet know I got clothes on and it tells the viewer and the viewer goes ok and takes them off me. which is pretty dumb bc the viewer knows I got clothes on. or should know + on busy sim where is lots of people wearing mesh like 30 or 40 people then can take up to half an hour sometimes for everyone to get their clothes on my screen. I just be polite and not say anything to them (: + linden doing all the Project Shining stuff at the moment. interest list, SSB, faster textures and asset download. all kinds. hopefully will be all ok when they finish

RL school teachers pretty much. nobody teenaged used it in any great numbers. in the end was down to about only 300 regular users. so linden end up closing it down and lower the age to come on the maingrid to 16yo from18yo. with the G restriction for under 18 enforced in the viewer was lots of wailing at the time from quite a few adult residents that we was all going to get run over by hordes of giggling teenagers. didn't happen. and wasn't going to happen anyway. que: the numbers on teen grid is some teenagers come on SL. but bc SL is a directionless game (like no builtin activity - leveling) then they get bored pretty quickly. bc pretty much anything 3D online to them should be a game. and when it don't play like a game as they understand it then is boring + so that leaves pretty much adults who want G only experience. and they can have this. by set their viewer controls to G or G+M same like you done. is okish this way. we all adults and we can see/work out stuff by ourselves for ourselves pretty much + we chat about all this now and again on this forums. when we do i always vote for continents. like here is a G continent. here is a M. here is a A we already got a G continent. was the old Teen Grid continent which now on the main grid. we got a A as well. Zindra if was up to me then i would reflag all the other mainland continents to M. just so that within any given draw distance then is a consistent view and expectation + will be some people who on existing G mainland parcels and not want to be reflagged to M. so give them a free transfer to the existing (retouched) G continent i think will be quite a few G people be happy for this. like it be more acceptable to them. a forced G march. more acceptable than the A forced march was. for following reason + was quite a huge difference the A march. bc A was a new classification. the classification was the biggest problem people had adjusting to the A classification meant that what was/is typical adult grownup fantastical behaviours and activites were now classified by linden as digital pr0n - XXX style. that was pretty offensive to many people. then on top of this being told that they were also going to be forced march to pr0ntopia. then well! + a march to G continent is different i think one - bc the G classification is not a new thing and two - most G people given a choice would quite like to fly/walk from one end to the other of their home continent and get the same consistent experience/view that they have chosen for themselves on their own home parcel and three - this would make M people the most happy of all (who are the largest group of users by far). for the exact same reason as the G. they can do normal grownup fantastical things on their parcels and on their public spaces and not have to ever worry ever again about net nannies ever again. many people who have chosen A for their sims/parcels aren't A people. they M. they choose A parcel bc of the net nannies. not bc they into digital pr0n of the XXX style and four - the XXX people be happy as well. i agree about not getting suggestions google bing etc are tools for me. i use them to find out stuff i don't know about. like doing research in a library. or a reading a catalogue what i want when i do this is filters. that allow me to easy find stuff i don't know = the biggest problem i have these days with online search engines is that they return me heaps of links with info that i already know about ike it remembers what i already know and gives them back to me. and then suggests other stuff i already know. like hey! heres some other stuff same as the first + i don't what this. i want links to info about the topic that i don't know about already when i am researching. bc when i find something i do want to remember then i bookmark it can be quite frustrating helpy things sometimes. like they get over helpful quite often these days on the search engines. is a little bit annoying sometimes when that happens

i just add something else here. for people to look at on their home setup Monty Linden in other thread ask us about wireshark testing so i dl the wireshark and have a go. don't know much about it but click the buttons and find out when run on a viewer session then packets coming from SL to me are all blue. all of them. DNS packets all good as well. so that's good but every single packet from me to SL is red. all them. zillions of them. so i investigate that on the googlefu seems is do with the behavior of the NIC checksum on the network card/driver on my computer. the reporting of this on wireshark seems to be a bit dodgy bc of the lag delays that NIC can cause on some computer configurations. but turns out that if the NIC is not working well (capacity wise) then connections can get dropped for SL that ends up with "Darn ... you been logged out ..." + so i been playing with that now. latest driver etc. also what i am finding is that if i turn off checksums on the NIC for both UDP and TCP then i am getting a few less Darns now i not done any massive tests on this yet but is something i can do for myself in the meantime. it may turn out to be nothing. but i will find out. either way my network card a: Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller. 8.10.1226.2012 my OS is: Win8 64

on my previous posts i made 2 vids to show the problems from our end. bc last week Maestro say can we repro the problems in the standard official viewer. so i done that he answer to the first vid and say yes he can repro that with a fast vehicle on his computer. so ok. he knows about that i made a second vid bc he ask about stuck. stuck avatars. the vid i made was about stuck avatar on a vehicle. not quite the same as he asked about. but stuck anyway he then say that looks like 1814. we been working on it on Beta grid and we hope to have it soon on maingrid RC. so i went on the Beta grid to test it out is better on there at low speeds than on maingrid. from what i experience go dead slow (meaning upto avatar walking speed) and its pretty much perfect go fast (like more than avatar flying speed about) then same old problems. the ones we both experience. broken cameras. stuck viewer. etc i can replicate all these behaviors with both single and multi-script vehicles on either grid the key thing for me at this moment is that multi-script vehicles go better on the betagrid test sims than on the maingrid. is still not perfect tho. but is a bit better at slower speeds. if linden can also make a fix for higher speeds on the Beta then we will get all on maingrid so that be good i think. bc that's what i want. just to play on my vehicle smooth as. at all speeds

if you got a mic can check to see if is open sometimes viewers turn mics on and leave it open. even when you click the close/stop mic buttons push to talk button setting is often the culprit

i think i now see why i not been able understand you. we use SL viewer in different ways. so you not see what i see I made a pic below so you can see what I see i not login to the website with any browser for this to happen. just click Me \ Account dashboard the adverts already inworld. is why I not get why you was making a distinction been browser and viewer + the thoughts i been raising are to do with how far are linden going to take this? like are we only ever going to see linden and resident adverts in this way. or are they going to extend this to 3rd parties? and if they are going to extend to 3rd parties then how far will it extend. inworld search pages? profiles? etc and can we opt out. or is a browser a browser same as any other and that's just the way it is bc thats how the web works + here is the pic
