  1. Back up and running with full inventory. Thx LL and Happy New Year to all 💋
  2. Apart from the hundreds of merchants (possibly thousands) who are missing out on sales surely this kind of problems must also hit the MPs bottom line. No sales mean no commissions
  3. I'm pretty sure they will be restored eventually. These incidents have been happening for the past 6 months without so much as a peep of explanation from the MP team. There are currently a couple of ongoing unresolved MP problems on the status page which just seem to have been left to hang there. The thing is, unless you diligently check your item count daily and keep a record, it's impossible to tell just how often our listings are going missing. And yes Jira https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/BUG-234913 plus submit a ticket. The more the better.
  4. Yep - Me as well, and it seems at least half my inventory is not showing, that's aprox 2,500 items gone walk about since the 26th December Has anyone fromm the MP ever explained why this keeps happening?
  5. As of 12.30am SLT I'm in with FS 6.6.17 and was able to TP out and back home without problems. The region handshake stuff grumbled a bit at first but at least it didn't hang or crash. I've got too much to do today so I won't be spending all day juggling and swapping viewers, alts, machines etc. I'll just stay firmly logged, in my eyrie, catching up on yesterdays missed tasks and fielding customers requests. Thanks LL for what you tweaked (if anything)
  6. I agree , but there is no discernable reason why it works on one machine for the same account with the same ISP and not on the other. And if FS isn't the problem then it surely must be SLs servers that are hoodwinking the engineers. As the evening progresses I am hearing of more and more people suffering the same trouble. But not a whisper from the lab other than Monty's notes earlier.
  7. Now here's the odd thing. I Cleaned out my tired old iMac and loaded FS 6.6.17 onto it. (Just for desperations sake) And to my surprie I was able to get in-world to my home. Without any region handshake conectivity problems. Twice in fact. But I am afraid to try to teleport and I'm not going to because I want to keep channels open for my customer queries. However on my more modern Macbook Air the original problem persists. This tells me that at least my fibre internet connection is not the issue. And now my finger points back to my laptop and to Firestorm. I suspect a file or something got corrupted during the installation. A file that other viewers also need access to. But hey I'm no techy - far from it but surely this is a clue.
  8. I hope so. But having said that for the past 9 months Firestorm has sporadically died on me or rather my Mac. Full blown crashes when I tried to log in, with crash reports and everything. The only way I have been able to get it back up was completely deleting everything and then reinstalling. Runs smoothly for a while then crashes again. But what's happening today is nothing like that. My faith has been shaken somewhat
  9. You've expressed it well. I have had the exact same problems with my alts. Juggling with different alts and viewers I can get in once or twice but then the teleporting crashes me out. I'm using a Mac airbook because my Imac is dying on me and can't cope with SL anymore so I can't really test what happens on that machine. What I can say is that my problems started when I updated Firestorm to 6.6.17 (70368) this morning. But that just may have been a coincidence.
  10. I tried with the Kokua Viewer and I actually got past the handshake and into my home BUT again when I tried to leleport it froze and then booted me out AGAIN. I'm getting really worried now because I have customers who need contact from me.
  11. Seems all viewers official and third party are now freezing or crashing at Region Handshake like this...
  12. Reaching out to support is was an utter waste of time. I spent an hour in chat (my alt) with them only to be advised that the issued seemed to be European based and to reach out to my ISP because the SL engineers couldn't detect anything. Shortly after that, I did get in and it was ok for a while so logged out waited a while then ten minutes ago I try to log back in and boom same. Glitch. As I said earlier my troublke started when I updated the FS on my Mac and then it seemed to spread to other viewers. Sometimes getting in but crashing when I teleported or often crashing completely at Region handshake. *sigh*
  13. My troubles seemed to have started after I did the FS update too I was about to raise it with them but then I found other viewers including the previous FS were hanging too
  14. Yes there really is some nasty glitches going on this side of the pond. Eventually managed in with the SL viewer but teleporting is a disaster. Progress bar froze and then when I quit I suddenly find I'm actually in the destination I tried to reach. Absolutely nutz.
  15. Been suffering the very same problem in UK over the past 4 hours. Have managed in using Alchemy but once in world teleporting has be nigh impossible. Not the normal buggy laggy SL but something more pernicious.
  16. Yep - here we go again. I just tried to reference an item I listed a few of months ago and have sold copies of in MP, but right now it's not showing on search or in my MP web inventory. Yet it's sitting right there on my in-world MP folder and showing as active. On looking at my current category count I suspect a couple of hundred items have disappeared again. And it would take ages to find out which are missing *sigh* - What a mess - Heads straight to the jira
  17. "This will also fix a bug where stores with over 3000k listings had the wrong number of listings being counted by Marketplace. The listing counter on your marketplace store and manage listings page will now be correct but may show a smaller number. " That fix didn't last for long *sigh*
  18. Haven't been following this thread due to summer break - but I have just discovered exactly the same thing when randomly searching for one of my items that I know is an active listing. Doesn't show when I search for it and doesn't show in my MP inventory either *sigh* . On further inspection I see dozens of items that have been affected this way.
  19. Yes - thanks for spotting this. I have just checked following reading your post. All the ads that I had listed with adult content seem to have been washed away as well by the great MP Elastic Search tsunami. I would never have known if not for your post and I won't be holding my breath waiting for a refund for lost impressions. While on that topic all my 'relevance' showings which have never been remotely relevant are now more irrelevant than ever. I can also confirm that anything with the word 'erotic' but in no adult material as part of the title has also been removed.
  20. Same problem. I usually don't pay to much attention to traffic but recently I was updating my land description and checking search ranking. On Friday I was seeing a modest 900+ traffic count and on Saturday it was showing zero. I know for a fact that shouldn't be the case as I had several visitors and most spend about 30 minutes looking around. Come today 'Sunday' it's still showing zero. Chances are this has been going on for ages and I just haven't noticed. I'd file a jira thingy but just going through that process brings me out in hives.
  21. The Jira states that the issue is now closed (fixed) but the problem is happening more than ever. I currently have six orders that are stating 'being delivered' but which elsewhere confirms they have been fulfilled. I have a suspicion that in some cases the email is not triggered until the customer has logged into the viewer. It's not a disaster but it does play havoc with my daily sales logs.
  22. Thanks Dakota I've also been noticing this problem for the last couple of weeks. I only picked it up because I was checking my caspervend sales page that also logs my MP sales. Several items were showing on that log which had not been notified to me through email. I investigated and sure enough "Being Delivered' was peppered through my "MP" Transaction history. Now the odd thing is that one buyer had purchased 3 items under the same order (not gifts) but I received an email notification for one of those items but the other two were hung in the ether until the following day when I got an email confirming all three. As I write I currently have six orders just hanging in the air. My Casper console tells me the sale has gone through but MP Transaction History says they are stuck in the 'being delivered' status. I suspect if I contact the buyers direct they would advise me that they have already received the goods, because customers are generally quick of the mark to tell me when their items bought on MP have failed to arrive. However - when I switch to viewing my orders under the "Reports" tab, the same Being Delivered items show as Delivered - but no email off course. My conclusion the MP reporting tools are borked again. On a side note isn't it kind of silly that on the MP transaction history page we are only able to view 11 lines at a time? and what is the point of having separate 'Orders' > Transaction History and "Reports" > Orders I'd file a jira thingy or drop a line to support but I generally find both those routes to support clunky and confusing. ~ Elle
  23. Read the details and whilst I don't mind the two step approach it looks like SL have opted for the most complicated setup procedure around. Downloading apps, scanning QR codes (so long as you have a camera) or enter a huge string password, and then dancing through several hoops to get it activated. Meanwhile most banks and other accounts with sensitive info just send a code via sms text and bingo I'm in. No faffing about no fuss. Oh well it is SL afterall
