I don't know anything about the pregnancy options but as a mostly happy Legacy owner I'll mention a couple of things to check while you're demoing to make sure you can live with them:

    • Spend some time using the Styles part of the HUD and make sure you can live with it, especially the fact that you have to have Media enabled to use it (just the Styles part, though, and you can turn Media off when you're not). Personally, I almost never use the Styles tab of the HUD, aside from the initial setup to turn BoM on, because it suuuuuucks. I even bought mesh nails to avoid using it (Cazimi Ballerina nails, best L$1 I ever spent) unless I need to paint my toenails. Note that you can turn the body's nails on and off with gestures now, it's just painting them that requires the HUD.
    • Get some demo garments that are scripted to activate the alpha cuts, and try putting them on and then taking them off a few times. Notice how slooooow the alphas get painted back in. A real shocker if you've switched from literally any other mesh body. Try it on a laggy sim for real agony. I just avoid things that activate alphas, which my personal style allows, but if you like lots of cover and you also change your clothes a lot this may really be a problem for you.

If I could have gotten the shape I wanted with eBody Reborn I probably would have gone with that instead, but Legacy was the only popular body that did what I wanted. Both bodies seem to be popular enough to be well supported by apparel creators so I don't think you can make a bad choice here.

There are chat commands now to set up BOM on Legacy, so there is no longer any need to turn media on for that.

I did notice on the EVO X and Standard heads the bottom lips didn't seem to line up right and it was kind of blurry.

Yes, finding this as well, it is very hard to find an EvoX skin that will work with the mouth. Other than that, very pretty head.

Why am i so sad in second life? why cant i find my purpose in second life?

Very difficult question that psycholog would return to yourself.

    * you are sad because you stay alone - You don't accept yourself - you are victim or want to be victim - You want to attract attention but it does not work - You need someone who love you - You need to be appreciated at your real value - Purpose of SL does not exist this is the reason you can't find it

The OP posted over 10 years ago. He has probably long since left SL.

As an expert in IRL commerce, one thing really appeals to me and I share with you an amused reflection on the subject.

It has not escaped anyone's attention the sudden change in policy of the most popular -non Event- in SL I called the "60 lindens"

Expected by many as the one and only moment where they will be able to customize their avatar at a lower cost. And whoa what do I see?

Change of logo with a nice 60-90 displayed in large...
Not seen not caught. I'm confusing you.

An increase of up to 50% of the usual price!!! With obviously the choice for the seller to apply the price he wants (there must be some serious disagreements within the participants of the Event or worse the organizers have decided on their own to pass the pill smoothly?

In short, this will have catastrophic consequences in the very short term and it is totally illogical. Or is there someone within the council of 60 lindens who wants to torpedo it from within for the benefit of another Event? Let's throw a huge stone in the water.

Message to other Event creators. I think it's time to win back some customers by saying that you won't change your pricing policy.

50% is not an increase, it's just racketeering...
But the funniest part of the story will be seeing the reactions of the stunned penniless customers.

You must be aware then that these weekend events that have increased their prices for customers have also increased their entry fees for creators.

I agree with everyone else, 90 or 100L is still really cheap for a lot of what is on offer in the sales. If something isn't worth that price to you, don't buy it.

I bought  clothing from market place and would like to contact seller

You contact them the same way you would if you bought in world, by IMing or sending a notecard. Maybe look at their profile for any customer service guidelines they would like you to follow. To find out the name of the person you purchased from, go to your order history or the listing itself and look for the name after "Sold by:".

My question for the forum is: How far will YOU go to satisfy the arbitrary requirements of a parcel owner to satisfy their set standards, be it height, number of scripts, avatar complexity, clothing style, species, gender, mesh vs non mesh, etc etc etc.

I will follow the "humans only" rules that a lot of sims have, and not turn up in a cute animal avatar. Height rules, well my avatar is generally pretty short but it has been ages since I went to a parcel with height detection. I would skip going there rather than change my height. I have seen child-looking avatars taller than me in adult sims in any case.

Why do you have full bright hair??!

From an economical standpoint, why does lelOOtka drop freebies heads each christmas that every single account in SL and their 5 freshly created alts will have ,unconditionally,? I still don't understand it. Is it to get everyone wearing lelutka and when the stuff isn't free anymore, new people see that head and be like? WHERE COPY? * buys the head which used to be free"? Surely it's something i'm not getting.

I'd think that they're losing out on money because of the sheer volume of people who make an alt JUST to use those free heads as a way to make a gold standard avatar, then they never buy another head again. LOL.... The numbers are insanely high.

I can't read that, what were you thinking with that formattting?

Hi there! Newbie to doing a fantasy look and I've settled on a lovely pale/icy fae that I'm happy with the pale skin, white tattoos, and overall look. I'm now working on wardrobe which is posing a bit more of a challenge.

I am not looking for kawaii, childish, baby girl, Tinkerbell, or dark. I am trying to create a white, airy, classic, adult female, and a few slightly seductive looks with my clothing.

For me that has ruled out places like Caverna Obscura (too fairy like).

I have found some great jewelry and accessories at Sigma and lassitude & ennui. For clothes I have found:

    • Enfant Terrible
    • Zenith
    • Salt & Pepper (cool wings!)
    • Sweet Thing
    • Poet's heart
    • UNA
    • Arwens
    • Les Encantades
    • Just Because (two gowns I liked!)

I am also looking for the following if anyone is up to a bigger challenge:

    1. something like a mist or gentle glitter that surrounds and moves with me (I saw one at Club 511 but the woman TPed out before I could ask her)
    2. a subtle magical white flame or orb I could hold in or between my hands that's not too "big" (the effects from the ones at Elemental are too visual/big)
    3. more earring choices for SIGMA's Small gauged elf ears (I have looked at e.marie but there's nothing fantasy)

I know it's a lot, but can anyone suggest more clothing places especially? Thank you :)

Petrichor, look at their collaborations with Ersch for clothing. And Petrichor has a lot of fantasy jewelry and accessories. Also look at Aii & Ego.

  9. Peeve: marketplace keyword spammers, who don't seem to realise that their misuse of keywords makes it impossible to find stuff in their own stores. If you sell 100 pages of items and I am trying to find lingerie, you aren't getting a sale if the search for lingerie shows me everything you sell. Also a peeve, no way to report whole stores for keyword spamming. I don't have time to report a whole store's worth of listings.

  10. Looking for pretty a-line knee-length or longer skirts for Reborn. Searching the marketplace just comes up with a heap of mini skirts and templates, so I was hoping someone had seen something nice. High quality is a must.

  11. That's a good resolution. My inventory is a lot bigger than yours, and cleanup is a nightmare. I think that sellers do not do us any favours when it comes to reducing inventory bloat. With unpack scripts, hold animations, "thank you" notecards and landmarks in every purchase. I want the item itself and maybe a picture, not a heap of bloat I need to remember to delete when I unpack my shopping. It also does not help that we can't easily select all items of a certain type to delete them. I would love to be able to instantly delete all the landmarks in my inventory, and while I can filter for them, I can't select them all at once to remove them.

So, I did a quick search of the SL Marketplace for "Senra Jamie" and I was...underwhelmed. With a few exceptions, there doesn't seem to be a heck of a lot out there for Senra Jamie, yet. Mostly stuff from four stores: Lilleth, MALified, Pixel Box, and Luova.

Are stores deciding not to create apparel for Senra bodies because it's just too much work to add another mesh body? Am I searching under the right keywords' how are these items being described? Or is there still some confusion among store owners that Linden Lab needs to vet/approve everything for Senra Blake and Jamie, which creators simply want to avoid?

I dunno, but I would have expected a bit more on the Marketplace by now. (I also went into Lilleth, and the Senra Jamie stuff only appears to be on sale in the Marketplace, but not the in-world store?)

I'd be interested to hear other people's thoughts and opinions. I *love* these new bodies, and I am already using them (either with the Senra heads, or with other free/inexpensive heads I've picked up) for quite a few of my alts. But if we're going to be stuck with the included capsule wardrobe, that is definitely going to limit their usefulness for new users (the intended audience).

Maybe designers think that the target group for the Senra bodies and heads is not likely to spend money?

I made something for Senra on an alt, and it sells quite well, however, it is something very affordable.
