  1. I am talking about using the sliders to make "imperfections" like larger noses, jowls, or underbites. There is at least one older LeLutka head that allows this (Nova dated version), but I would like to know if there are any others. Some heads don't seem to allow much change via the sliders. I would prefer something EvoX compatible.

Not enough non-human/fantasy heads or skins (except BeSpoke, and I've already got the sphynx and steampunk rat) for my taste and I'm so over the scars and bruises trend. Ugh.

The Snow Rabbit head has excellent tinting through the HUD, so you can turn any skin into a fantasy tone and it looks good. It also comes with animated elf ears.

Any visible seams or weirdness around the nose/mouth/eyes? Did you check it in different EEPs? With and without makeup?

No, I'm not going to buy this thing, LOL. I'm just super curious how it all works and how effective it is in the end. It's an interesting idea.

I have used a 4k skin with it, and there are no seams at all.

  4. I went all out and bought the Genus Morph fatpack, Lelutka Billie, and the new Snow Rabbit head, as well as a skin from Nar Mattaru.

Here is the Snow Rabbit head, with default shape, some brows and blush from the HUD, and a Glam Affair skin. So pretty and quite different from other heads you can buy I think. And I have to say, it has the most natural animations of any head I have used, I normally don't use animations on mesh heads but these are great.

    - If LaQ does offer a new ERA2 head, that will be a no go for me till they fix the EVOX version of their head. At this moment, the EVOX version of the head isn't worth a penny due to the issues with it.

    -  LOGO is coming with a new head, looks nice, but I am not allowed from Maximillion Grant to share it at this moment.

    - Lelukta, I am doubting

    - Catwa, if they are present, I am doubting

    - Akeruka, at this moment I have issues with the current designs of them, where the chin is presented like a front splitter of a sports car, and hard to shape else.

Catwa will release a new head at the fair

  6. I am really looking forward to Skin Fair, which opens tomorrow for certain groups, and on the 8th of March for everyone else.

SnowRabbit is finally releasing their EvoX compatible mesh head. I have watched some video reviews for this one, and it looks great. I was a huge fan of the last head they released, but it was not EvoX compatible and did not have as many features. I will almost certainly buy the new head when Skin Fair opens.

What are you looking forward to at Skin Fair?

  7. Peeve - merchants who don't make their stuff available on the SL Marketplace. I get sick of visiting large stores in world, waiting for things to rez, and trying to use area search to find things without success. I get that it is a lot of work to put your entire store on the marketplace, that you run the risk of people leaving bad reviews for no good reason, and that LL takes a cut. But there is a whole customer base out there who primarily shop on the marketplace, and that makes it worthwhile.

    https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Linden_Lab_Official:Senra_Body_SDK_License#5..09Technical_Support.

3.5 Inspection and Review. Upon completion of each Avatar Item, Licensee shall submit such Avatar Item to Linden Lab (in such form and format as Linden Lab may require) for review and approval upon Linden Lab’s request. Licensee shall fully cooperate with Linden Lab in the course of such review and approval, providing to Linden Lab such information and assistance as Linden Lab deems desirable.

LL confirmed that just as it says, that is only on request, it would only be under certain circumstances that it would be required. It doesn't apply to people just making and selling Senra stuff for their stores.

I have a flat billed hat i want to wear in its correct form which means i have to wear a hairbase under it. all i need is a pony tail that can attach in the back of the hat. Also any links to hairbases would be great too.

Nova is now releasing their hair in versions that go under hats. Might be worth checking out their latest stuff at events.

Thank you for explaining. I was seeing it from the point of a creator who creates their own stuff without using full perm parts from others. I can see how the latter can get very expensive. That said though, those who do create their own animations, textures, 3D models etc do not pay 1000L+ per item.

Most furniture makers in SL use full perm animations. There are only a handful who create their own. It is very pricey to invest in these, especially if you are making adult content that contains hundreds of animations. The price you can expect to pay for a single adult couple animation is between 900 and 2000L. So making a sex bed for most creators would require an investment of hundreds of thousands of lindens. Hard to recoup that when customers increasingly expect to be able to pick everything up for 75L in sales.

Not arguing that. My point was that if no one (are two out of a thousand) folks are willing to pay the price you have put on an item then it is really not a viable item.  Creators certainly have the right to put any price they want on an item but if it is higher than most people will pay they won't sell much.

My stuff is on the expensive end, as it has a lot of animations. But I still make more selling my niche expensive stuff than I do from putting more mainstream things for sale for 75L on the weekend. You have to sell a LOT of things for 75L for it to add up to any real amount of money, especially when the events have entry fees.

  12. I too avoid going into my store if I see someone is there. But I have met customers when I have been at venues, and they have IMed me to tell me they like my stuff, so that is very nice. Sometimes I will send them something for free if we chatted for a while, and one guy I kept bumping into regularly, I got to help me with testing something new.
