  1. Hello, the only way to get it, is to contact support on their website: http://support.secondlife.com/contact-support
  2. Do you have a gesture active, that is triggered with 'E' ? Look under Communicate-> Gestures (CTRL+G) Or maybe a script in an attached object that took your controls? Try detaching everything, and attach your items one by one.
  3. Hello, that's an insteresting question, but I think you cannot close your store, you can only remove all listings and other information from it. Here is a link to the Knowledge Base page: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Managing-your-Marketplace-store/ta-p/700191
  4. Actually if the Estate Owner is online, it will be faster if he restarts the sim or requests a sim restart. That requires that the Estate Owner is online and reads your message, though. Also the benefit of creating a ticket instead, is that anyone can request a sim restart that way, not only the sim owner. But please use the correct ticket type for it (Land and Region => Report an offline region).
  5. Hello, please go to http://support.secondlife.com/create-case and select 'Land & Region' and 'Report an offline region' from the dropdown, and fill in the name of the sim. Linden Lab support will then typically respond within two hours, from my experience. ETA: I did this for you, for now. Next time please use the form to report the region yourself. Thank you
  6. Hello, try to use a smaller picture, if the upload takes too long it will fail. Use the dropdown that says 'Current Window' and set it to something like a 1024x768 resolution.
  7. Hello, please try with the viewer from the official download page: http://secondlife.com/support/downloads/ Here is a little more help about login failure: English Knowledge Base - Login failure Possible causes Linden Lab may have temporarily restricted all logins Linden Lab occasionally restricts access to Second Life when its servers experience severe technical difficulties or require major maintenance. These outages affect all Residents and are not limited to your computer or account. Check the status of the Second Life at http://status.secondlifegrid.net. This page will list any known issues. Wrong password Incorrect passwords are a common cause of login failure. Passwords are case-sensitive, so remember to check Caps Lock if you know you entered your password correctly. If you've forgotten your user name or password, follow the instructions in Account credentials to retrieve it. Account disabled due to delinquency If you do not pay your tier or private Region fees in a timely fashion, your account and your alternate accounts may be disabled for delinquency. For more information, see Delinquency Policy. Account on hold due to disciplinary action If we find that a Resident has broken our Terms of Service, Community Standards, or other policies, we may place that Resident's account on hold as a disciplinary measure. When we place an account on hold in this way, we send an email to the account holder at the address registered to that account. Start at: now appears on the login screen.
  8. Hello, this is the first time I hear of this issue. Would you care to post a little more information? Which viewer and operating system you use? Did this happen only once? ETA: Does it help to teleport to another region? Also try upgrading to a newer viewer version. And make sure you don't have OTR and RLV with some restrictions enabled, if you're using a third-party-viewer.
  9. Hello, check the statistics bar (ctrl+alt+1 to activate it) for suspicious values like a low Sim FPS and Physics FPS, or a ping above 300msec. Homestead sims share a physical core with other simulators, so the sim performance could become worse even if there is nothing causing lag in the actual simulator, but on an other simulator on the same physical hardware. But most likely there will be some physical prims, temp-rezzers, or avatars with laggy scripts, or any other things in your sim that will cause that behaviour. You could just try to move to a different sim, or wait until it gets better. You can also request a restart of that specific region at https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/ (Select Land & Region from the dropdown, and 'report offline region').
  10. Hello, also make sure that your antivirus software has the viewer white-listed. And if you're using Skydrive or iTunes, try to de-activate it. You can also try to disable "http textures" and "http inventory" in the advanced menus.
  11. Hello, if this continues please contact support at http://support.secondlife.com/contact-support and/or file a jira at http://jira.secondlife.com
  12. Hello, in addition what rolig said: you can use the double-click teleport option. Enable it in the preferences. Here is a short tutorial about that feature:
  13. Hello, you can try to roll back your graphics driver to the previous version, if the issue just started. Also consider contacting support at http://support.secondlife.com/contact-support
  14. Hello, in addition to what rolig said, do you maybe have a multi-screen setup? Then always use your main screen for Second Life. Also update your graphics drivers to the latest version, or - if the bug started after the last update - roll them back to a safe version.
  15. Hello, I'm sorry I can't offer much of help here. You can try the latest development viewer, which may contain some fixes for known issues: http://automated-builds-secondlife-com.s3.amazonaws.com/hg/repo/integration_viewer-development/latest.html (this link will always lead you to the latest build). Choose the link that says "DARWIN". Also if this continues, please contact support at http://support.secondlife.com/contact-support
  16. Hello, there is a setting in preferences (in the LL viewer under 'GENERAL') - bring the settings up with the shortcut CTRL+P, which is called: "Pressing letter keys Starts local chat". Probably that's enabled for you.
  17. Hello, did you contact them via the editor email editor@lindenlab.com as described here: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/About-the-Second-Life-Destination-Guide/ta-p/700059#Contact_the_Linden_Lab_editors
  18. Hello, search the marketplace ( https://marketplace.secondlife.com/ ) for 'Chimera' for example. Or "dance ball", "dance hud". In the bottom left of the search result page check the three checkboxes and the two 'price' fields both to 0, then click 'refine search'. Here is something from the results: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Chimera/825404 https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Chimera/1114680
  19. Hello, nobody but the creator can really answer that, I'm afraid. ETA: I found this Answer from another resident, which may shed some light: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Technical/Why-does-Zyngo-version-8-5-wylde-mode-lock-down-in-a-no-win-mode/qaq-p/1796837
  20. Hello, please download the latest viewer from http://secondlife.com/support/downloads and try again with a clean install (see http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/How-to-uninstall-and-reinstall-Second-Life/ta-p/1375231 for instructions). If that doesn't help please come back here, click 'edit' at the top, and tell us which viewer you were using, which operating system and graphics adapter. I'm sure we can help you with the issue. As a last option you can go to http://support.secondlife.com and contact support.
  21. Hello, you can look in your chat log, at least if you were using the official viewer you will find a message in the chat log like 'Resident XY paid you 50L$'. Here is a quick tutorial from Torley that shows how to find the chat log: ETA: You can also check your transaction history: https://secondlife.com/my/account/transactions.php?
  22. Hello, many furry avatars come together with a HUD that makes it possible to open/close the muzzle. You can also consider adding an additional script like the very popular MuzzleTalk by Matti Deigan: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/MuzzleTalk-Prim-Muzzle-Movable-TypingSpeaking-Jaw-Scripts/193956 If you don't want to afford that, feel free to contact me in-world, I have several freebie muzzle - talk scripts, even some that I did myself. I hope this helps!
  23. Hello, if your transaction list ( http://secondlife.com/my/account/transactions.php? ) actually says that the items were delivered, and you didn't discard them and don't have them in your trash either, clear your cache and relog. After the relog open your inventory and type something random in the search bar at the top of the inventory window, and wait until the inventory finished loading. If you're then still not able to find your marketplace purchase, and it's been more than 24 hours since you've purchased it, check again if you've followed all steps from this knowledge base page: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Shopping-in-the-Second-Life-Marketplace/ta-p/700189#Section_.2.2 If none of the above helps, the best will be to contact support together with the transaction number and name of the purchased item and the merchant, at http://support.secondlife.com/contact-support
  24. Hello, please try to access it with a different browser (Firefox, Chrome, ...). If it continues to fail, please contact support at support.secondlife.com/contact-support
  25. In sandboxes there are often "gropu inviter" devices where you must click to get an invitation into the group. You can see your groups when you press the shortcut CTRL+SHIFT+G or use the viewer's menu: Communicate-> Groups
