Where are my Lindens that I just bought showing on Paypal that I bought them

Sometimes it can take a while for a PayPal transaction to process.  Also, if you are looking at the $L balance shown in world, it may not be correct.  The account balance shown on your Dashboard page on this website is the correct one.  Re-log to update your in world balance.

Wait a few. Are you looking inworld, or online? If you're inworld, the balance sometimes doesn't update quickly. Go to your dashboard and look there. If what you just bought shows up there, go back inworld and click the "Buy Lindens" button. Wait a few minutes, then cancel. (You DON'T have to actually buy $L - clicking that button forces the viewer to check in with the servers and update what you see.) Alternatively, buy something for $1L. That'll do the same thing.

If you DON'T see the amount you bought reflected in the balance on your dashboard, give it a little while, then contact billing:

This is from the current grid status page:

[Posted 7:01am PST, 08 January 2012] We are aware that some residents may be experiencing issues logging in world as well as with some web based services (marketplace, land store, and billing services). We are working on resolving the issues and will post an update as we have more information.

 

I suspect the problems with purchasing Lindens stems from whatever other web issues are going on at the moment. I too made a purchase about 40 minutes ago, and am still waiting to receive the Lindens that Paypal says I have paid for. 


Update:

[updated 8:19am PST, 08 January 2012] We have resolved the issues surrounding log-ins and multiple web based services. We are working on the last issues surrounding the billing and L$ purchase systems.
