Trespassers

My Linden home has had trespassers dropping in at any old time of the day and night.  I thought non residents were prohibited from entering land owner's property.  How can I prevent radom interlopers?

If you want no one to enter your parcel, you need to set that up in the About Land - Access tab.  You can restrict all public access or you can set up a group and restrict to group members only.  Those are probably your best two options to choose from.

Open the "About Land" window and there the "Access" tab. Then uncheck the option for public access.

Hello rez. Restrict access in your land. In Viewer 3 you find it under Menu World --> Place profile --> About Land --> last tab "Access" --> Disable "Allow public access". After you have 2 options:

1. To allow the access only to your group (If you have set the parcel to your group)
2. To set a list with "Allowed Residents". Only residents in this list will have access in your place.

You can go to all the trouble of putting up ban lines and installing security orbs, but why do you care, especially when you aren't there anyway?  After all, nobody can steal anything in SL.  If you are smart, you have set your land perms to prevent non-group members from being able to rez things, and you have prohibited object entry, so visitors can't trash your home either.  If people wander in to admire your home, it's no big deal. 

If you really do care for some reason, just install a greeter that does nothing but say "Hello!" plus a visitor's name and the time every 30 seconds if people visit when you're not around.  It's friendly but just annoying enough to discourage people from hanging around for very long.

get a home security.............or use groupglas ....so only your group can enter the property
