Is humor allowed? Please don't smite me, almighty smiters.

Feel free to add your own. Call it a survival guide.

Merchant: One who sells a product or service for free.

Economy: Taking one cent USD and slicing it up like a pie.

Sink: Making sure you don't get "all" of it. We want some too.

Commission: We want some of that fictional currency for ourselves!

Stability: Release, test, polish, repeat. Wax on, wax off. The more you practice, the better you get at it.

Development: Dunking a burrito in a Starbucks product for better hand eye coordination. We're ready for mobile applications now!

Release Candidate: Viewer 3.0 for president!

Profit: Making more than L$2 for every hour spent re-listing a product.

Maturity Ratings: The kinkier you are, the more mature you are. Conservatives need to grow the hell up!

Moderation: Smirking while you kill each other, and not us.

User Group: Maximizing profits by not having one.

Lindex: We didn't realize we could make the whole thing fixed rate until it was too late.

Feedback: It burns!

TAO of Linden: Kewl, what does it do?

Respect: We respectfully decline from comment.

Ticket: a way to let LL know that live chat could not help or tell you anything you didn't know already

SL Developer: Hairy homo sapiens banging on things that are not broken

LoL Funny stuff!  Loved yours Sassy! :)

Customer Support - an oxymoron that also means "hold time".

Account Terminationn - Having the billing stop on your account for a few months until at which time LL chooses to reactivate it without your consent.

Account Ban - the act of someone else who used your computer once three years ago who then cancelled their account and disputed the recurring charges to their credit card.

Terms of Service - A non legal binding agreement in the form of a pliable document to enforce changing policy  without any notice.

Teleport - the act of loosing objects and the ability to render characters within a virtual world. AKA, "crashing".

Gambling - the wagering of odds or against skills also known as "betting" on anything that does not garner positive press.  (See also Zynga).

OK Lemme try a few LL Glossary of Terms....

LL Strategy Development :  Fully adopt Nintendo DuckHunt gameplay (aka shoot at whatever duck flies on screen)

SL Marketplace :  LL Commerce Team's proof to the world that Devolution of an ECommerce Site is actually possible.

J.I.R.A.:  JUNKYARD of ISSUES REPORTED and ABANDONED

LL Commerce Team :  A group of business, marketing, and I.T. students from a local college cutting their teeth on working in a business.  Part of LL's participation in a "School Co-Op in Industry" program and LL's strategy of cost reduction by leveraging free labor.

SL Merchant Requirement  A  "great idea LL Commerce will consider as part of a future yet unplanned MP upgrade.... when hell freezes over"

Customer Service :  A  "Great idea LL will consider for some future release of the company"

LL Quality Assurance & Testing Team :  Outsourced to LL's Customers (shhh dont say this too loud - they dont know).

LL Alpha Code :  LL Code developed and ready to integrate into production systems and hand off to the QA Testing Team (see above) for testing.  Ooppsie if it risks all production systems.

LL Beta Code :  LL Code deployed into production / replaces production code and with fingers crossed that nothing goes wrong.

LL Production System :  LL Beta Code that was not backed out.

Must correct the definition of Land Impact, as a new replacement of the term Prim Equivalency. As of yesterdays Community Tools User Group meeting, a Linden stated that this would be called Land Capacity.

Quoted reason: "people think in terms of prims because that's what they're used to. I'm not the one who made the decision to use the new terms, but it makes sense to me in a world where prims are no longer the only unit of value. "

Which leads us to ...

User Friendly: Complexity is much more warm and fuzzy.
