how can I fix my camera angle. when I try to zoom in it shoots upward. It has done this on Emergence

When I try to zoom in on Emergence the camera goes upward toward the sky. I can't seem to get it fixed. Any help would be appreciated

There seems to be a camera epidemic today.  :smileysurprised: You aren't the first one to ask this question.  Take a look at my response in the thread just below yours ( http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Technical/My-camera-is-stuck-in-position-of-only-able-to-see-my-avatar/qaq-p/976229 ).  The answers really are not speciic to Phoenix.  They ought to work for any of the viewers.

If the Phoenix checklist doesn`t fix you, try these:

Right-click desktop - personalise - display - text size (DPI) =96 per inch.

Also if you have a Joystick or something attached, go to preferences > move & view > other devices and uncheck avatar & also build if you want.

I think I understand the problem. This appears to happen on round or curved objects. I'd report this one in a JIRA. The cam seems overly sensitive in the last few viewer releases requiring an SL fix.
