I can not find what to do to change my appearance ! send me to the magic box

how do I get to the correct field to make my edit change in " Appearances " don't send me to the fieild that doesn't give me away of finding the home page that has the tabs its talks about,  I am getting very upset

Inworld, iIn the "me" menu, go to Edit Appearance. It will open a window with all your body parts listed there. Play with sliders for head, legs, torso, etc, then click save changes.

Are you asking about how to change how you look, or are you asking how to edit a listing you have for sale on the marketplace?

You can edit your post by selecting the appropriate action from the Options menu in the top right of your post.

Log out of second life. Click the icon to log back in, before you press the green button that says login, under mode choose advanced instead of basic.

You don't need a Magic Box to change your appearance.  The Magic Box is a delivery device that makes it possible for merchants to sell things in Marketplace.  It has nothing to do with Appearance.  To change your appearance, you need to log in to SL in ADVANCED mode (not Basic mode), click on your avatar, and select Appearance.
