Have you ever had a crush on someone else's avatar?

in 2007 I realized I had a crush on my partner-at-the-time's avatar when he kept insinuating, at the time, that he was going to update his skin and hair to be more current with the trends; and every time he would insinuate such things I would feel crushed inside because I didn't want that face to change even one little bit.  And of course, things always must change and creativity breaks through previous successes and one learns to accept, if not adore or more, the new normal.  But that 2007 face is still so very tenderly locked away in my emotions   Silly as it may sound.
