In the answers section, how do I let others know a question has been answered?

I don't usually ask questions here, so I'm not sure how the interface looks to the asker. Is there a way to mark a specific response as the "correct" answer?

No, these question-answer-type threads use a voting system (on the left, the little ^ button above the "score") and the intention is to have users vote up the best answers. Very few people here actually vote on answers. The ability to vote down answers has been disabled by LL.

If the question is answered to your satisfaction within 24 hours, you can edit your OP (or its title) to indicate that it is [RESOLVED]. Otherwise, you can add a new post to the thread, saying that it's resolved.
