Ronald Tempest
Can someone tell me where the applicable settings are and how to change the settings to determine when someone is "perving" or panning in with their camera?
0 Xiolin Furlough
I can only speak for the Phoenix Viewer, and the process is simple. Goto the top of the viewer to Phoenix drop-down menu, then click the Show LookAt option. Hope this helps if you got the Phoenix Viewer
0 bee Baroque
if you are using the phoenix viewer, do as xiolin suggested. keep in mind, tho, that it is possible to turn off broadcasting of your own crosshairs, (and using flycam or space navigator or whatsitsname doesn't broadcast camera focus point, amirite?) so there is never any guarantee to "catch people perving". i love the phoenix viewer, but this "feature" is one of the dumbest. only causing drama. ("take your cam off of me, ty") i think i understand what the intentions from LL's side was - i am sure this feature is useful in some circumstances, like teaching classes etc - but for the average "i don't do drama" user it is not. forget there ever was such a thing and continue to enjoy your sl. add info/comments to your op by using options> edit. 0 Rolig Loon
Why do you care? It always strikes me as a little paranoid to worry that other people are looking at you. Instead, perhaps you should be flattered that someone finds you that interesting. Relax and enjoy life. :smileywink:
0 Paladin Pinion
There is no privacy in SL. Anyone can see anything, and depending on the viewer they use, there is often no way to tell. It's only pixels, you know.
0 Peewee Musytari
I agree with Rolig, don`t sweat the small stuff. The LookAt beacon is almost meaningless as it doesn`t show where people are looking, it shows the last place that they alt-clicked and really what does it matter if someone is looking at your pixels or not? Just assume that everyone is watching you all the time and ignore it.
