in game money (Linden Dollars) are sold for US$ on the Lindex. Then the US$ can be withdrawn to your Paypal or Skrill account

I hear it is difficult for non-Americans to get $ out of SL. Any experiences and/or tips on how to facilitate converting L$ into non-US$ cash?

I'm from one of the lands of Euro and i don't have any issues. Usually when i "take out" SL money, it takes about 4 days to go first be approved by SL and then for paypal to put it on my bank account.

 

On an unrelated side note but about money:

One day my husband came up to me and told me the washing machine was making a weird metallic clunking sound. I just shrugged my shoulders and told him i was money laundering.

He forgot to take the change out of his pocket

It's mostly the same for all residents, no difference for US or non US.
Some countries however, have different rules for financial transactions, or people aren't standard owning a bankaccount/CC .. in those cases it gets indeed impossible or a lot harder.
Several countries also don't allow Paypal or Skrill activities in their system.
