Inappropriate land charge

Good day,  In the early part of August, I abandoned my mainland property in winslow  as I seperated with my partner and could no longer afford the tier of 150.00 US per month.  Expecting to fall back into the premium membership cost of 11.99, I was alarmed to be charged 150.00 on August 28th.  Could someone correct this charge?  Thanks.  Joeemama Resident

You pay the tier that you had at any point during the month. So if you had a $150 on august 1st, but abandoned it on august 2nd you will still be charged the full amount for that month. You also do not pay tier up front but in retrospect.

Since tier is paid in arrears, there will always be a final amount due after getting rid of land.

And you should realize that this is a resident to resident forum.  We are all residents like you.  We have no authority or power to correct any charges, even if we wanted to.
