Why are my graphics crazy?

Hello. This is a shot of a couple of bookshelves. They are supposed to look normal. They used to look normal. This is one example of crazy looking things for me. I updated to a new driver recently, in an attempt to render spheres more properly. Is this the result or is it something else? I am on V2. Thanks.

edit: I've been answering in comments so for those who dont know to click permalink, how would you, I have said, I have my graphics set to ultra, my lod set to 4 and all my sliders maxed out.

Answered: the solution was to do a simple reset of cache. Perhaps corrupted texture or somesuch. Me, preferences, setup, reset.

Do you have RenderVolumeLODFactor on default in debug settings? Put it on 3.

Hello Charolotte. Usually we see objects that way when we look them from distance and we have our graphics to low or medium. Maybe you have your graphics quality to low or medium? Try for a moment to set it to high or ultra and see if that helps.

The objects detail slider is set half way by default(for me, at least). I'm not sure that the debug tricks work if that slider isn't maxed as well. Pref>graphics>advanced. =)

If you have everything maxed out and that doesn`t look any better if you zoom on it, maybe its a realy badly made sculpty LOL

You can try changing your VBO setting in preferences > graphics > hardware.
