Sorry, but that's the way to do it.  This is LL's world, and they are the only ones who can reactivate your account.  When you were banned, you should have received an e-mail explaining the appeal process.

If you would like to appeal your termination, you may contact Second Life Support, by opening a new support ticket with a subject of "abuse appeal," or in writing, at the address below:

Second Life Support

Linden Lab
945 Battery Street
San Francisco, CA 94111

You can also try to submit a support case as follows:

  1. Open a support case.
  2. Under What type of problem are you having?, choose Account Issue.
  3. Choose Reactivate an old account.
  4. Enter the required information
  5. Click Submit.

The "required information" is the set of reasons why you believe that you should no longer be banned from SL.

All we CAN tell you is the correct process to appeal the ban, which is to submit the ticket to reactivate an old account and plead your case there.

It sound like you want us to tell you how to "get around" the ban, but since creating a new account when you are already banned is another  breach of the TOS then you would just end up having to explain that one too. So you may as well just do it the right way.

Good luck.
