Momo Littlepaws Posted September 2, 2019 Share Posted September 2, 2019 Hiya I've been watching the new Dark Crystal series and I really want to make a gelfling avatar, specifically one like Deet I already own the Gelf ears but I have no idea how to get the face right. I've tried messing around with sliders but I have no idea what I'm doing. Is there a head that similar, or does anyone have a rough idea of what to do to make the head shape? Maitimo Posted September 2, 2019 Share Posted September 2, 2019 You will need a specialist mesh head for this, you cannot make non-human avatars with the normal body sliders. An anime head should work as they already have large eyes and small mouth and chin. But make sure it is omega compatible as you will need to add a fantasy skin to it. Fallen Gods may have a skin close to what you are looking for. Bodywise, I am not sure how small Gelflings are meant to be but you can get down to about 4' with body sliders. Maitimo Posted September 2, 2019 Share Posted September 2, 2019 Now that I'm actually at home and not on mobile, I've looked at the anime heads (M3 and M4 from Utilizator) and it seems that they only work with custom appliers, so you won't be able to use Fallen Gods skins on them. However they are fully mod, so you can tint them as you wish, and even make your own skins for them. LOL I'm not completely certain, but I'm pretty sure I was able to come close to a Gelfling look with a Catwa head, I don't remember if it was Catya or one of the others. Since it wasn't what I was going for I was hating the head (I know: laughs). Alyona Su Posted September 9, 2019 Share Posted September 9, 2019 (edited) I created a shape using the Genesis Lab JANE head and Fei skin and this is what I came up with and passed to the OP in world. I haven't heard back from her whether she even likes my attempt or not. Though without a mesh head created to look like a Gelfling, this is about as close as can get using existing in-world items and sliders. There are Gelfling ears that can be purchased at MP or in-world, so I didn't bother with those.
