Query with avatars height

When i edit my appearance in Viewer 2, my height is 1,92m (6'4'') and with Phoenix 2,12m (6'11'') with shoes. Why this big difference? I got some height detectors and according all them i am 1,92 so Viewer 2 is right. On the other side recently i built a stick, set it at 2 metres height exactly and when i rezz it and stand beside i am taller than it, so taller than 2 metres so Phoenix is right. I am really confused about it. Which is my height?

The height measuring in Viewer has always been borked since LL brought their own way of measuring the height. Looks like they want to define tall amazon babes as "normal". :smileywink:

Hello Ansariel. I don't know what "borked" means. Maybe you mean "broken"? How does LL measure the height?

I agree with Ansariel, I use the Phoenix height because I think it is more accurate. Also because it makes sense to use the one whose height is based on actual prims as one interacts with prims in SL all the time.

Borked means messed up. I don't know how they came up with their formula, but as you already noticed yourself when you rez an object and compare yourself with it, the height shown by viewer 2 is wrong.
