Help creating my own personal character please!

Just what the title says. I want to create my own personal character based on a character I drew but, I have no idea how to go about this. Only real experience I have is editing shapes.  Is there a place where I could learn the basics of creating stuff maybe a specific youtube channel or maybe an in sim tutor that takes me through everything I need to create pretty much everything I need to accomplish my goal?

Post the drawing, maybe there's already items out there you could use.  Or do you want to build an entire 3d model from scratch?

Do as MegaRose suggested. Post the pic here so we can get a better idea of what you might need. There are a few variables you should show to get a more specific answer.

Thank you for replying! I would prefer to do an entire  3D model from scratch. I am a creative person, I like to create. She is my own OC (Original character) and I would prefer to keep her that way if at all possible. Thanks for your time. ^.^

Grab a copy of Blender (https://www.blender.org/), look at tutorials online at youtube and go to work. If you want someone to create it for you, be prepared to pay handsomely. I would highly suggest you look at MP and see if there are any attributes available already, something to help ya get started or learn Blender and build it yourself.

Then yes, learn blender, and then later pick up a copy of avastar so you can rig and import the model. There are a lot of tutorials for avastar on youtube.

The beta grid will let you upload for free, rather than spending real money here.

I can see why you need to pay handsomely to do this..this job is a nightmare.

Learning Blender, or any 3D modeling program, is not a trivial task.  This sort of software is like Photoshop on steroids...very very powerful, but NOT easy to master.  I'm a little puzzled about why you declined to post a picture of your design.  I understand you want to keep people from copying it, but  really, assuming you DO manage to create what you want, once you are wearing it in SL, a determined thief can steal an exact copy using an (illegal) viewer with "copybot" capabilities.  I think the chances are very slim indeed that anyone would pirate your idea from a sketch posted here in the forums.

On the plus side, once you learn Blender, you'll have the toolset to become a content creator yourself, and possibly make some money selling your creations.

There is so many ways I wish I could reply to you but, it would be impossible with out a 500 page essay on well everything you talked abut. 

 

Long story short (Still pretty long though.) Its not just an drawing, I have a dream of turning this OC and a  few others into a manga and later an anime. I have been struggling with real life and this dream is whats keeping me strong. If its stolen to say "I would be crushed" would be a huge understatement.  I have no clue how I would react though one thing is for sure it wouldn't be a positive reaction. I just want to give to some one else what Anime gave to me. If that path involves a few scum bags stealing my creations that is fine. I am fine with people stealing it outright, as long as it has a chance. I am willing to crawl through flaming glass like shards of brimstone with nothing but my pinky finger to see my dream come true.

Maybe I could release a "General idea" of what I wanted by releasing some art that..well quite honestly I messed up on and had to redo it any way. that way they might only get a small of what I intended to create and you all get your inside look at what I wanted to create. Sound good or what?

I'm pretty sure you could get close to this with readily available clothing and some work with the shape sliders.  If you're looking for more of an anime appearance, you could start with one of the many anime avatars out there.

well, this is simply a drawing I messed up on, Originally I had planned a ton more details more so then I am sure exists in SL.  Maybe if you want, you could add me and we can take a look at the shop together. I don't plan on getting anything unless I run into exactly what I am looking for but, it could be fun. ^.^

Then the choice is human body or more anime? If you are going for a more anime look (looking at your chin to guess that), then something like the Kemono or Avatar 2 body with M3 head
