Blocked user evading a Block by sending 1L$ with message?

so i'm dealing w/ someone who's been trying to evade a block by sending Linden. he's been doing this to another resident i'm well acquainted with (a verry good friend of mine in an Discord server) while they have been sending *Her* messages this way, i haven’t received any message. we both use Firestorm so i don’t know if its a setting i have up that she doesn’t or *shrugs* but  normally is there even in the stock LL Viewer a user from even Sending Linden? because if i block someone, i want nothing to do with them that includes unwanted L$no matter how little or how much they send.

with this user i lifted the block long enough to ask them kindly to stop, and give them back thier L$.  a few mins they did it again. greeted almost instantly with a message with them feeling almost entitled to be friends, i gave them a final warning "do it again, i'll send an AR for Evading a User Block." they havent done anything since but that has'nt stopped them before. i just want nothing to do w/ this user at all no messages, no items, no linden no notes no nothing. for the longest time as i've been around SL for quite a long time [since '06]) that you block someone,  that was the end of it. you didn't deal w/ messages or anything. i'm happy to be with a relativity low block list thats users affecting me directly and not a bot or griefer going around a group that eventually gets purged.  mainly just chat spammy objects.  but this is the first Persistant user i've encountered in the nearly 12 years i've been on SL. anything outside just filing the AR i can do?

Hi Cael!

If you have blocked someone, you won't get any IMs from them and any inventory offers will be automatically rejected.  However, a blocked person can still do two things: they can physically bump you (if they are there where you are), and they can send you money.  One of my students told me that a guy she had blocked years ago sends her $L 1 every few months, supposedly just to let her know that he's still around.

Paying you does NOT remove the block.  However, if YOU send THEM an IM, that automatically unblocks them.  (EDIT:  But see the advice from Whirly; she knows stuff even the Lindens don't!)

My advice:  Don't respond to them.  Keep the money and when you have enough, buy a cute pair of shoes.

There was bug in the viewers that meant that blocked residents can pay L$ to the blocker and use the pay message to avoid the block.
Make sure your friend is using the latest version of Firestorm 5.0.11 which has the fix.
The blocked user will still be able to pay you L$ but the payemt message will not be received if you are using a viewer version with the fix.

´ that! And if you feel THAT harrassed by a person (I know the feeling, if I want someone gone I want them gone so far like they never lived in any life, NO evidence, no sign of them just nothing... )I´d report him to LL ...dunno if that´d help and it would be quite drastic but yeah... 

Stick with Lindal´s suggestion though for as long as possible, because...well... free money (not much, but...^^)
