Script-to-web https connections not working anymore?

Hi all,

For the last 12 hours or so, I'm getting 499 errors from https requests in LSL scripts. It happened on several different sims (running different sim versions). Changing https to http and omitting the HTTP_VERIFY_CERT flag from the http request 'fixes' it (in an undesirable and  insecure fashion).

An https URL to the same remote server works fine with Marketplace ANS, so the problem does not seem to be from the back-end.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Could it still be an issue on my side? Or does this merit another JIRA?

A jira would be welcome.

Be sure to specify the site that you're having a problem with.  It may be that we need to update the Certificate Authority roots in the simulator.

Hello, can someone link to the JIRA? I have been using http so far but wanted to switch to https... So it would be good to see if and how the problem gets solved.

I don't see a specific one, but I think that's what Oz was suggesting that someone ought to do.  You may have sharper eyes than I do >>  https://jira.secondlife.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa
