There is no actual age verification anymore.  If you were under 18 when you signed up and you are now over 18, you will need to put in a Support ticket - and likely supply LL with some sort of proof of age.   https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/

There hasn't been "age verification" since about 2013. However, if Linden Lab needs to investigate because you are the subject of an Abuse Report, they may check to verify that the age to gave when you entered SL is correct. If they find out that it's not, you could be banned from SL.

Assuming you are 18 or older in Real Life, and that you entered your correct date of birth when you registered, the procedure is simple.  Just open your Preferences (CTRL+P), go to the General tab, and select "G, M, A" in the section "I want to access content rated..."  Next, go to Search (CTRL+F) and enter your Maturity preferences there as well.  Finally, go to the Marketplace here on the website and change your Maturity preferences there, too.

Sometimes, one or more of these has the choices grayed out, even if you are old enough.  In that case, you must file a support case for help.  See the Help/Support section of this website.
