Are land tier fees due at the end or the beginning?

      Im new to this whole land owning thing in sl and would like to know if land tier fees are due immediately or at the end of every month?

Tier is due at the end of the monthly period you own the land.

adding a little catch ... if you own land for just one second in the billing cycle, you have to pay the total of used tier for that whole month.

Selling it on the first day will cost you the same as selling it on the last day...

It also depends on whether you're talking about Mainland or Private Estate land.

If you own Mainland and pay tier on it to Linden Lab, then the tier is charged "in arrears"...that is, you are paying for the previous month's occupancy.

If you are leasing land from a Private Estate owner, you're paying her "in advance"...your payment is for the NEXT week or month of occupancy.
